August 25Aug 25 Smoother than ever: PSXT 15.17 introduces frame-synchronized position resampling and guarded Hermite speed interpolation for take-off and landing rolls—delivering fluid movement without compromising PSXT’s rock-solid stability. As you may have noticed, I have released many updates over the past few weeks. This was made possible by my use of ChatGPT’s Codex tool. What AI can do is truly amazing! Many potential bugs have been fixed, and PSXT is now much more robust and better equipped to handle unexpected situations. The icing on the cake is the improved interpolation.Version 16.0.0 will be released soon to mark this important milestone—but after that, I’ll be taking things a little easier for a while.

It is confounding MSFS2020 versions with MSFS2024 versions. Also, it is treating the most recent prior versions of a paid product for which there is now a V2 or V3 products as no longer viable to send. Two examples:From the log file: "Warning: update FlyTampa KLAS to version 3.2.0 first; no airport file is sent to TBLO" - I have the latest version from the V2 release, and haven't decided whether to spend the 5 Euros to buy V3 after I read about a lot of issues with it. In order to use PSXT correctly now I HAVE to buy V3?From the log file (more in the log): "Warning: INIBUILDS EGLL version 1.1.0 is used, but newer version 3.1.4 is available" - The version I have installed is the latest version for MSFS2024. The latest version for MSFS2020 is 3.1.4, so it's mixing two different things. There are other iniBuilds airports that have diverging 2020 and 2024 versions, and also with NZA Simulations. From the log file (more in the log, not just Orbx): "Warning: ORBX ENAL version 1.0.0 is used, but newer version 1.1.0 is available" and "Warning: ORBX LSZS version 1.0.0 is used, but newer version 1.1.0 is available:" - For both of these airports, the version that I have is the latest one one the Orbx Central app.
September 14Sep 14 Author Thank you for the detailed examples. You are correct, and I apologize for the problem introduced in 16.5.1.PSXT should not require you to purchase FlyTampa KLAS V3 in order to keep using your valid V2 product. V2 and V3 are separate paid products, not successive free updates that can be treated as one version sequence.Your EGLL example also confirms that versions belonging to the MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 products can diverge. PSXT should therefore not present MSFS 2020 version 3.1.4 as a newer version of your current MSFS 2024 version 1.1.0. The ORBX examples may similarly concern different product or distribution variants.I will restore the airport archive from before it was reduced to three versions. I will also change PSXT’s newer_only handling so that the absence of an exact archived version no longer blocks sending the airport to TBLO or effectively forces users to purchase another product generation. The version warning logic will need further refinement because publisher, ICAO and version number alone are not sufficient to distinguish MSFS 2020/2024 products, paid V2/V3 releases and different distribution channels.Thank you again for reporting this so clearly. Your examples were very helpful in identifying both problems.
September 14Sep 14 Author 16.5.2 is now available, with the older versions still available in the archive. PSXT will warn you that there is a newer version, but it will not force you to update.
