Tuesday at 06:38 PM5 days Doing missions in Australia on the weekend, I happened to luck into an airstrip/missions that had snow due to it being winter over there at this time of year. Most of the missions I've flown in Australia default to Spring/Summer textures, regardless of weather set to Live or not. So I was surprised to see it - I also really enjoyed the snow effects as I flew over soft surfaces in the helo (its the same as the dirt effect, just recolored).Wanted to know if it was a fluke or not? The Satellite data the maps are based on is constantly updating so it makes sense that some missions in the same area might have loaded a different season, depending on the last map update.Flying in colder regions like Iceland, its possible to get snowy terrain all year round, but since I only started with MSFS this Spring, I haven't experienced a Fall/Winter season yet in the sim, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing Toronto and the surrounding area in the Fall/Winter.Is that a thing in the default sim, or does it only happen though the magic of mods? Both images below were from the same session, same region, two different missions. MSI Aegis R | Intel i7-14700F | NVIDIA RTX 4060 | 1TB NVMe | 32GB RAM | Windows 11

I know that's the Career Mode doing that, as I'll get 15C in Canada, Australia, and the UK missions too. I'm guessing thats the 'clear skies' default temp. I have live weather on however...
