I covered that in my first post on page 1 😉 The Boris SR22 sound pack can be used only with the 2020 version of the SR22, in MSFS 2024, yes.

The only way to do this is to physically copy the unencrypted version of the SR22 from 2020, from the Official folder of 2020, into 2024's Community folder.

If you don't have 2020 installed (which ironically I don't now) with access to the 2020 SR22, it's not possible.

I did rhat. But I know with Maddog there were files that needed to be edited to work.

Since I got the sound files at the same time I have no idea if what I am hearing is the updated sounds.

Perhaps load the MSFS2024 version (if you got both for the purchase?) and take a listen to the sounds. They're acceptable but nothing special. Then try the 2020 version (with the Boris sound pack also in the Community folder). The engine start is very realistic and immersive, but to know that you've really got the sound pack working, take off and listen to the change in sound from the prop, biting into the air as ground effect is broken. It's quite something.
