Which What Where Who ?

Hi all!The thread becomes really messy (but very funny!).Then the hardest question was about the scenery.I have reinstalled Fly!2k some weeks ago, and noticed there where some files in the library I had never tried because of the coming of Fly! II.I downloaded CHICAGO ULTIMA by Dominique Normand...... and my jaw dropped on the floor! It's important to follow the advices in the readme file, and with the power we have now in our PCs, the scenery is a pure joy! Never suspected that such high resolution was possible in Fly!2k.2.5m per pixel!!!Don't forget to download the very-high-res pack as well.Thank you Dominique, I don't know if you still read this forum, but in case you do, I want to congratulate you for the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen in any simulator! Most of us had migrated to Fly! II when you uploaded Chicago Ultima. I'm glad I decided to give it a try! There has been more than 1500 downloads for the base pack until now. I hope the number raises yet more, because after so many years, it's still the best! The question has been asked: can we do it for Fly! II? My guess is that it should be possible. But I have no idea how much work is needed for the conversion.Cheers to all!Pascal

Bart, Drop me an email... We may yet be able to get a response from Andrew. Rob Young gave his blessings, but I have to get Andrew Farnaby's as well. I wrote him at his web-site, but to date, no reply. :-(If no reply, it may well be we will start from scratch (this is ONE BIG MAYBE). But who knows? ;-)Cheers!Ken Wood :-sun1http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannernewkw.jpgGateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock

Well, just judging from the textures, my guess would be Jean Sabatier's Arizona scenery for Fly!2K, but far as which area, cannot say... :-shyKen Wood :-sun1http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannernewkw.jpgGateway 700X; Intel P4 2.4GHz; 512MB RAM; NVIDIA Ti4200 4X AGP 128MB; SB Audigy; Thrustmaster TopGun Fox 2 Pro Shock
