Here is the string to start RC3 in high priority

While searching on google for a way to start a program in high priority mode without having to manually change the priority in the task manager everytime you boot the program, I ended up in a site that explains how to achieve the same goal through an entry in Windows register. For those interested here is the link:http://fox2k.net/2ktweaks/game_tuning_guide.htmIt's about Win2000, but I think it should work for XP too.J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg

Scott,Adapting the start string in the Target window of RC3's shortcut properties did save my slow speech problem and it may be so for other folks too, but it still leaves me with one question: if this slow speech phenomenon has not appeared during the beta test, then what is different between the beta testers equipment (hardware and software) and ours, that could explain why we encountered the problem, or else, what is the difference between the last beta version that has been successfully tested before going gold and the final version we received?Anyway RC3 is a great program. I am a happy user of Radar Contact since rc99, and RC3 will certainly give me many happy flying hours. Congrats to the whole team.J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg

Scott,On behalf of JDTLLC and all those enjoying RCv3, I want to personally thank you for your time and efforts! I know from experience what it takes to do what you've done for us, though I've never achieved your level of quality with what tools I have. We do know what you've been through, the hours/days/weeks/months you've invested (with no monitary return). I say again, RC wouldn't be what it is today without you. I thank you sir!To those interested, Scott is easy to work with. He's pushy and demanding (of himself as well as others!), but that's what creates quality :-). Some months ago John posted an invitation for people to record for RCv3. The same will be done come RCv4/5/6 etc. When that time comes, participate! Please! Some who've recorded for RCv3 and previous versions... we'd appreciate a break from the mic :-lol!
