I've tried your solution for XP to speed up the voices. And there was some improvment, but It should be better for for I paid for this product and how great you advertise this product over FS ATC. I just recently installed RC and been getting familair by flying the tutorials many times. But the ATC sounds like robots on crack. There's no fluid flow of sentences. the solution is at the top of the forum.adjust the priority of rcv3.exe to give it equal footing with fs200x.there is a solution for xp machines, and for win9x machinesi guess the real question do you want realistic, by the book atc - even if is a bit choppyor smooth ms fs atc.write me either [email protected]

Bill,I am curious did you follow all of the instructions for the Win XP Pro priority.With my installation which is close to yours, the voices are almost too fast. Make sure you have followed each step.If you want the non-accurate MS ATC instructions then I think you may have to return. However for the improvments you want then follow each step.CheersBob Johnson

I followed the instructions, I had to change folred name to RC30 instead of what was called for in instructions. I now start RC with separate exe icon. And above normal show in task manager. I even increased to high priority to see what happens, but FS slow down to much and become jerky. Maybe you can email me your batch file to try.

Also why do I need a second adv display one is already on top when RC starts, but is unusable. I open second window, but when I dock it dissappears.Bill M

you need to close the puky green color bar at the top of the screen, and place the advdisp window somewhere on the panel.this is discussed in the manual

you would be the first person say that fs slows down using this method of increasing priorities.there must be something else going on, on your machine.

I run a P$ 2.0 GHZ with Geoforce 3 64 MB card. I fly only the PSS aircraft, and note that with RC3 I get stutters and jerkiness that disappears in a given situation whjen I terminate RC3 or lfy the same scanario with MS ATC.Greg
