February 10, 200323 yr Why does the Tower in RC3 always say that I am number 2 or 3 when on final? I don't think I have ever heard "cleared for landing" without being told "number 2 or 3". Even flying into an airport that is not set up for AI. As a matter of fact I made the mistake of taxing onto the runway of my private airport, with a 2650ft runway, and heard Tower tell someone to go around and heard a LARGE Jet go over my head and had tower yell at me for not holding short. February 10, 200323 yr Richard,The number you're given is based on your distance and has nothing to do with AI or anything else.When you're told to hold short, that's what it means. When RC gets irritated by you taxiing onto the runway anyway, APC vectors any local 747 to overfly you. Just as a wake-up, mind you. ;-)Actually, I thought I got rid of all the United's and Lear's and whatnot and just had numbers in the calls.

February 12, 200323 yr Hello Here are some suggestions on your next upgrade for RC3.1. When The ATC wants you to change course, could Turn left or turn right to heading # be use??2. Is it possible for the ATC to be more aware of incoming AC before being told to taxi into position and hold. February 12, 200323 yr Bill,2) This is being done for 3.1. JD and Peter have worked it out so RC now sees aircraft in front of you for and on the runway and on final. So far it's working well.

February 13, 200323 yr Commercial Member i've found the word turn in another wave, so i may be able to chop them up and create a new wav.if i'm flying 090, and am told to fly heading 180, i look at the compass, and decide do i want to turn 90 degrees or 270 degrees.but doug enlightened me last night of some pretty stupid stuff that happens, so i'll see what i can do JD Read my blog
