Are you remembering to reset the altimeter when you decend below 18000 ft or if you are flying in Europe I think they use 6000 ft?

Are you required to be a current user of Radar Contact in order to check the functionality of the beta in FS9? I am not currently a user of Radar Contact and when attempting to run the setup file I get a runtime error stating a file is not found. That made me think you might need to be a registered user before this would work. ThanksMike Marzett

Hi Mike,Yes you must be a licensed Radar Contact user. Radar Contact is not a try before you buy type program.

Yes I am licensed Radar Contact user.

did you download the rcv31.zip file, unzip it into the rcv3 directory? got the latest fsuipc? 3.06 i believe. advdisp is at 2.122did you download the wav updates and controller 11 and 12?did you change any shortcuts to point to rcv31.exe instead of rcv3.exe?

Whenever i try to run rcv3 for fs 9 it says "cannot link to FSUIPC or Wide client."

Please make sure you have installed the latest version of FSUIPC (v3.08) into your Flight Sim Modules folder. Also please check your Radar Contact shortcut and make sure the target line is pointing to rcv31.exe. Your target line should look like this:"C:Program Filesrcv30rcv31.exe"

3.08 is in there and the link reads as so and still doesnt work. Its whenever i push "start rcv3" and ive loaded an fs 2004 flight plan

Have you installed all files contained in rcv31.zip and all updated wav files listed in our FAQ http://www.jdtllc.com/faqs.htmSo you are able to successfully load a flight plan into Radar Contact make adjustments under the Controller menu and Options menu? But when you click Start RCv3 you get the FSUIPC error? What Flight planner are you using? Are you loading an apl file or pln file?

i used v3.1 successfully in fs2002 earlier, and now i want to use it in fs9. And yes i can successfully load the flight plan and change preferences, but when i click start rcv3 it comes with the error in the "saved flights" box.

Do you have FS2002 still loaded? If yes, there must be a copy of FSUIPC.DLL in FS2002Modules and also a copy in Flight Simulator 9Modules. Please check both locations and verify FSUIPC.DLL is installed.

fs2002 is still loaded and there are different versions in fs2002 and fs9 modules folders.

I use FSNavigator to make my flights. Then I save them to the Flights/Other directoryWhen I open RC, I open the exported Radar Contact file, and I click ok.When I go to select a flight in Flight sim, it's not listed. Any ideas why?
