Display text in ADV dsiplay changes too fast

If you have turned off pilot auto-reply in the options I think you find you'll have time for at least two automatic text repeats as I recall before ATC complains about your response. That may not stop until you acknowledge getting your clearance. Only the text repeats, not the audio. What you miss in the first display you might pick up in the second repeat. The trick is to only write down what is needed usually initial heading, altitude, squawk code for the transponder. At times I also find text repeats even when I do ack the clearance. This happens until the next ATC command. In my situations I should state that the initial heading is not given usually until take-off clearance on the runway. Also be sure to get the altimeter pressure setting from ATIS before clearance and set it so when you get it again on the runway there should not be a significant change.I've never used it but you also might check out in the advdisp right-click options the settings for scrolling text to see if it affects speed.
