we discovered that in beta testing, and that is why FSHotFX didn't make the list of tested successfully list.your description was clear enough, i wrote it myself ;-)thanksjd

Hi Bob,You could even try setting it to 0 (unlimited). Increasing that setting certainly gave me more chatter enroute. All the best,John

if the ai are in the right stratum as you arejd

I made another flight at the weekend (an ATW leg in South America), checked before I started that all the chatter voices were selected as well as the controller voices, and set the TCAS setting in FSUIPC to 80nm.As I was climbing out of SCAR, there was a 737 on approach, and we actually passed within about a mile of each other. While the FS9 was screaming out a TRAFFIC ALERT call to the 737, I got nothing at all from RC, until the 737 was about 9 miles distant, then the RC controller told the 737 to resume own navigation, traffic no longer a factor.I know that RC4 is a product which is extremely well beta tested before being released (not like so many other payware addons!), so I am more than convinced that this is a problem somewhere with my settings. I'll let you know if I figure it out.Jack
