January 19, 200620 yr Commercial Member in my many years of doing this, 90% of the time it is the sound card driver, or the video card driver. there's a reason why the video drivers are constantly being updated. as more apps put more stress on the hardware, the hardware/drivers/firmware has to be tweaked. what we do from an rc or advdisp standpoint is pretty darn vanilla compared to some of these games that drive the cards to the max.jd JD Read my blog
January 20, 200620 yr This may help some. I find that when I have the adv display window on fullscreen it can lock the main FS window. All I have to do is left click on the FS window and the screen unlocks. AFAIK i do have latest drivers (Radeon 9800 pro & Creative Sndblaster)
