January 30, 200620 yr Hello all!I am looking forward to using RC4!! I am having some problems though. I am using a GeForce Go 6800, with 81.98 drivers. My AA is set at 8xS. My problem is with the Adv Text utility. After following the instructions in the PDF supplied with the product, I was getting the green box with the garbage text. I have tinkered with FS and am now getting the RC4 text to display in the proper window, but I cannot click on any of the instruments in my airplanes (default cessnas, LDS 767 for example). Also, the panel doesn't display below the Adv text utility. The screenshot shows how the overhead panel will not display below the text window. This is very frustrating. RC4 looks like a great program. I was wondering if anyone can help with this...Thanks in advance,Johnhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/140554.jpg

January 31, 200620 yr Thanks for the quick reply. It seems that running in windowed mode fixes the issue...but downgrades my performance. Thanks again,John

January 31, 200620 yr >I am looking forward to using RC4!! I am having some problems>though. I am using a GeForce Go 6800, with 81.98 drivers. I have a GeForce 6800 and use the 77.77 drivers, with all GPU settings maxed out. But, I am not running the standard configuration: I have a highly modified LDS panel setup w/multiple displays and I run RC4 on a separate WideFS client. >I>have tinkered with FS and am now getting the RC4 text to>display in the proper window, but I cannot click on any of the>instruments in my airplanes (default cessnas, LDS 767 for>example). Post the question to the LDS forum - there are many folks running LDS in the standard configuration with RC4. Maybe you'll find a couple of GeForce 6800 users.-michael
January 31, 200620 yr I would recommend the 71.89 or 71.90 driver for the GF6800 series. They are getting old, -I know, but that's the most current drivers that accepts 8x antialiasing without any problems in full screen mode. Rune B.
February 1, 200620 yr I use to have the same problem. Nvidia solve this issue with it's latest drivers for 6800 cards which I use. I using 81.98 version, but you need to remove all traces of older driver before you install.Bill M Bill McIntyre Asus StrixB650E-F Gamer, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Corsair Titanium DDR5 64GB, Samsung 990 PRO-4TB M.2, (4) 2TB SSD's, Corsair H1150i liquid cooler, RTX 2080TI Founders Edition, (2) LG 34" HD Curved Monitor, Sound Blaster Audigy X, 1Kw PC Power & Cooling Power Supply, Corsair Obsidian Full tower Case. February 7, 200620 yr Hi Bill,I just saw this thread- do you remove all traces of the previous driver with Driver Cleaner, or is there another way that you do this? If you are using Driver Cleaner, any additional things to do as well as removing the driver in "Add/Remove Programs"?Thanks- Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
