navdata and RC4

Featured Replies

Wilson,You don't need it anymore because RCv4 scans your bgl files and creates it's own data files which are required. RCv4 also gets some data from the FS9 flightplan .pln that you import, so there is no need to import additional navdata sets.Subs

I do not know if navdata exports these to RC data but there are within RC data files navaids such as VORs and NDBs that may not be pulled from FS by the update utility. The AIRACS are useful for the flight planners and GPS/FMC databases. If I did run an AIRAC export to RC, then I would run the update utility after that to insure airport data resync.

like subs said, rcv4 does not use any data from navdata. the airports and runways are captured by the "rebuild scenery database" button in rceverything else comes from the .csv files in data and from the .pln file that you importjd
