Runway assignments

Featured Replies

When I'm operating at an airport operating dual runways, RC will always give me the landing runway for departure, and vector me to the take-off runway for arrival.I know I can request different runways, but is there a way where I can land on the landing runway and take-off on the take-off runway without having to request all the time?

i'm surprised it is every time. i basically look and see what the ai are doing, which runway they are using. if they are using two runways, i pick the runway that is the associated with the first ai in my table.i guess in v5, i could be a little more intelligentjd

Or in plain non-programmer English:RC reads from tables (like a spreadsheet) established from FSUIPC data what the AI are doing. Each AI recognized has a row in the table. Its current operational state and destination runway are included among several other items.I think jd is saying he will look at more of this data in the next version. He is very good at responding to user suggestions.
