August 2, 200718 yr Hello, I did some runway re-numbering at KMIA and refreshed the RC datebase 3 times, however the tower still tells me to taxi to runway 27L, when there is no 27L just 27, 26L and 26R...is there something else I need to do since it looks like just re-numbering some runways via the AFCAD editor does not seem to work. Thanks,Bill Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
August 2, 200718 yr Commercial Member make sure the makerwys.exe in the root of the fs directory, is 4.12if it doesn't pick up the change, there is probably something peculiar about the scenery.jd JD Read my blog

August 2, 200718 yr Commercial Member there should be a runways.txt file in the root of the fs9 directory.zip it up, and send it to me. i can forward it to the afcad knowledgeable people on the beta team, and to pete dowson who wrote makerwys, and see if they can spot anything.jd JD Read my blog

August 2, 200718 yr Try opening up the AFCAD for KMIA. Under lists check the runways and then check in each runway property the ID and also the localizer ID.The in the list open the navaid list. Check each navaid property ID plus associated runway ID. See if the properties match the new list.In addition when using AFCAD after modifying something always use Save As, not Save, and choose a folder running at higher scenery priority than any other folders that contain afcad or airport scenery .bgl files. Create this folder such as AFCAD2sscenery and use the FS scenery library settings to put this folder high on your scenery list ( a lower number has higher priority). When opening an airport in AFCAD, always use the Open Airport/Search procedure, not a recent file listed in the File menu. This has to do with an AFCAD bug that seems to deal with AFCAD's file caching system used to speed things up. You need to force the opens and writes directly to the scenery files.BTW, are you using the default KMIA or a product such as Fly-Tampa's.
August 2, 200718 yr Author Its an afcad for the default scenery. Dont remember who the auther was.Bill Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
