I got an mid air collision with RC

Featured Replies

I made a flight from KPIT to KJFK with RC4. Close to KJFK during final ILS approach 13L I experienced an mid air collision with another plane. Should I not expect RC to vector and clear me in a way that keeps me at safe distance from other planes?

i don't start vectoring them out of the way until you are on tower freq, which would be 7 miles or lesswere you on tower?without a log, hard to say what happened. and it is such a rare occurrence, i doubt i ever see it in a .logjd

I had that several times when a faster plane arrived behind me. Since I use AI Smooth I never had it anymore.
