Hey all!I finally started looking into this painting thing about 3hrs ago, and I just finished my first repaint, following a tutorial. So, I am now looking at going out with just a picture of an aircraft I wish to paint & start. I noticed that on my 1st ever repaint, there are several lines that angle from the bottom to the top of the fuselage, andthey are jagged in the game. How can I correct this?I have access to Photoshop 5 I thinkit is, and PSP 7, which is better for getting smooth paint lines & surfaces?Thank you in advance.

I used to fuel aircraft for a living while in high school & college out at KBNA. I can tell you for a fact that the 732 has 3 tanks, A Left (left wing), Right (right wing), and Center (lower fuselage).Here are the Quantities:L/R: 9,561 C: 15,423 Total Pounds: 34,545 Gallons: 5,155I have this and, much much more information to make your aircraft & flight experience more realistic at my site, but it is down because my host went caput, and I have yet to find another suitable host.But, the fuel quantities for most aircraft are there, the CAT I-II-III approach definitions are there, how to read METARs, how to determine flight altitudes, all that good stuff.So, if you know of a good FREE host for sites, toss the info, & I will throw my site back up.

Alright all!Got the Continental to show up. Turns out there were duplicate flight plans, & aircraft names installed, so I delted the dupe aircraft names from the Aircraft.txt file, & recompiled, all is well.So, now, I just need to get rid of the dupe flights, which AITM is not detecting for some reason, but thats not a big deal at all!Thanks again for all of your help! You guys are great!only bad part about today is that I took a Katana D20 from KMQY to KMEM to a small part for another katana @ the local FBO, & had some nasty turbulence coming back into MQY. In that small plane, it was getting old trying to hold the aircraft straight & level, but.. Got down safe!See you all!

Alright! Thanks for all the replies!Still not working... I checked Radius' in the sim with AFCAD, and aircraft radius of the aircraft with AITM. All of the gates are a good deal oversized for the aircraft, not a single gate at the airport is undersized. I also checked the area where the most gates are usually open & they are all well oversized for what the 735's need.I can load the PIA Continental aircraft up from inside the sim, so that is not a problem either! I am at a loss at this point.Thanks!

Hey, sorry... was stupid of me not to put that in at first, yeah... There are PLENTY of gates. I have gone to quite a few airports now (about 20 total) & COA is at none of them.So, I guess it is something with the install, so I don't know what to do now.

Alright, I got that little problem fixed. Now, I have another issue that is bugging me.I live, used to work, & fly out of Nashville Airport (KBNA). I do most of my flights in FS as originators out of BNA, into another city & then back into BNA. For that reason, I want the AI there to be the EXACT same as the real airport, so...I have all of the airlines that fly out of BNA installed. I go to AITM, & there are no errors in the 5 scans it runs. I check the times for a certain day, & all of the aircraft that AITM says should be there, are there... Except 1. Continental is installed, showing no problems, and yet they showup no where.That is a minor issue, as I will deal with 1 airline missing. But help would be great!Thanks in advance!

Hey all!I have totally ripped all AI out of FS2k2, & reinstalled everything manually. I corrected all the missing aircraft, I also corrected the incorrect flight levels through AITM. I then attempted to correct the incorrect flight times reported by AITM. I let it do its thing, said they are all repaired.I save the new flightplan.txt file & recompile. I then decompile with the newly installed flightplan.txt, & run it through AITM for errors, all are gone, BUT!!! the time issues. & there are LOTS of them! So, I either need to know how to correct these manually, or why AITM is not correcting them, so I can get them fixed, because I am missing a LOT of aircraft due to the time issues!Thanks in advance!

Can anyone tell me a website, a program, or someplace to get actual flight plans for particular airlines for flights staying within the US. I am also interested in some US-Canada Routes.Thanks in advance!

I have this same issue, it is caused (only occured for me with the default install into FS2002 & on the ground default PIC aircraft)by the rudder locking full right. When I noticed this, it reminded me of a real world problem with some 737s several years ago. So I thought it was a failure.Well, it has continued to do it each time I taxi out with a default 767 PIC aircraft. I have not tried any others since this started to occur, but I will later.Anyways...

TWA also flew STL-BNA-STL... Was a DC-9 until they picked up the 717's, then it was about 50-50 on which bird came through BNA.

I saw someone post about a file called SBhost.dll, or something like that to replace the old SBHost window. Is this really something that works?I loved to fly on Vatsim, & even back before Vatsim, but with the new thing, and ever since the FS2002 thing where I have to use an outside program to run SB, I just do not fly anymore online.So, if this brings the box inside the gaming window, as before, I think I might just be flying online tonight for the first time in a long long time!!!!Thanks

I started thinking about it right after I posted, and I think I just might order, or if I can find one locally, buy one tomorrow.I have been reading reviews & forums up until now to see what people say about reliability so far, though I don't think it has been out long.I think it will be my next purchase.Thanks again!

Hey all!I have purchased 2 Saiteks. The first, an X36, which went out on me about a year into it. I then purchased an X45, which again, went out on me about a year, or so into it.I tried all the tech support options, & even ripped a chip out of the board inside the stick. All to no luck. So, I am looking for a QUALITY stick, that will last beyond a year with casual use, but that has a setup similiar to the Saitek. Money is not really a big option, but, nothing int he 4 figure range (is there such a stick?) please!Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

This only occurs when I am in the standard cockpit view, not in VC, or any others. I get stuttering sound, no matter what aircraft, default, to payware.This just started, nothing really new installed. In fact, I know I haven't installed anything new for FS. I rarely fly anymore.Anyways, system specs:Pent 1.6GHzSB Audigy Gamer Sound cardXtasy GeForce 3 Ti500 on 41.09's512MB SDRamThink thats all the important info. If you need more, I can serve it up.

Believe it is just V-Sky, & I think it is only about 1-2MB, maybe even smaller.Now, I don't know if you need the entire package for it to work or not, but I think you might.It is from FSW though!

hey all!I deleted EVERYTHING from by Traffic.bgl file, except for the actual flights I downloaded from ProjectAI. I installed Air Canada, Delta, Delta Express, US Airways, SouthWest, and a few others that I know for a fact originate out of KBNA (Nashville) for their first flight of the day. So I go to 4am local time, and wait. All I have there for aircraft are SWA, & 1 US Air. No Delta, No United, nothing else.I Decompiled with TTools, & the Delta plans are in the bgl file, the aircraft are there, but no flights.Any ideas?**Oh... I do have AI Traffic set to 100% in FS**

I have only used ActiveSky, and FSMeteo, and I cannot really say that I have used a later release of FSMeteo since about 4.87 version, but I would prefer one of the freeware versions anytime. Even with less features & a bit less in the quality of transitions, I say free is the best way to go.I do have a biased opinion though, as FSMeteo updates ceased to be in my mailbox after 4.7x & I had to beg to get my updated versions. Eventually, I stopped emailing the writer of the program after I heard of every new update, & of course, never received anything further.The worst part of that is that I purchased FSMeteo when it first came out, and I never thought I'd need to keep the receipt, so it was lost in the move a few years after i purchased it.Anyways, I will never re-purchase FSMeteo, & have run out of patience with not receiving the product. I refuse to beg for it, after I paid by money, so I say freeware all the way!!

I cannot find it now. I saw it in the library earlier when I was at work. I cannot find it now that I am home. Anyone know?

Thanks for the reply. Actually, to clarify, most of the readmes are very straight forward, I only had a problem taking in 1, and it was the AIMAP/AIMaker one. I actually think it might be the culprit, as I noticed that it assigns the aircraft you have to EVERY flight for that airline. If you don't have a suitable bird, it will use one you do have in that livery.I am now just starting over & looking for a new airport file, since I didn't back mine up it seems :(Anyways,Thank you for your reply!Larry Stewart

HI all!I thought, after reading through the readme files about 30+ times so I could understand what in the world the writter was attempting to say in some cases, I thought I had everything ready to go. I was VERY wrong.I compiled a quick test setup from the worldai0 (not the actual name, but close to that) for DAL, USAir, AA. This alone made up a 10k txt file for those flight plans. Now in game all I have is those 3 groups, and at least in Nashville, they are ALL SWA, I assume due to the low # of gates there. In LGA, it is about 90% USAir, & they are all the same flight # & all departing to MCO, at least for the 10 minutes I was in line taxiing.So, How do I find/get the aircraft to use actual flight times, numbers, and destinations? Is the file I have & mentioned above not just that? I also take it I can just tack on the original flightplan.txt info to the new one & get all the old GA + commercial AI back?Thanks!Larry Stewart

You know,And I am not trying to down the creator of FSMeteo, but I purchased FSMeteo back when FS98 was still the current sim, I believe. It was right in that time frame anyways, or FS98-FS2000 transition. I stopped getting my updates emailed to me @ some point about 8months later.I have emailed the guy about it & he will argue with me, with just cause, I would not give my hard work out to every idiot that emailed me about not getting their copy, as they are probably lieing. However, I offered to him every email address I have EVER had.Anyways, every time a new version comes out, I have to write & beg for it. Up until the last update, I was sent a full version, but he never re-adds my new email to the current mailing list.Last update I received a trial copy. I thought about just repurchasing, but I am not paying another $19.99 or whatever it is now for this all to happen again a yr or so down the line.Just my 2 cents. & this seems like a rare deal, so really I am SOL on this I guess. The program is well worth 2 or 3 times the original $14.95 I payed, but... not for the hassle.Larry Stewart
