    I don't think we need LR to reinvent the wheel with ground textures as these can be generated from ortho4xp, we just need realistically placed objects to make XP12 great. Obviously this cannot be resolved with osm data alone so LR probably need some AI tool to create this. Does anyone have any idea how this could be achieved to help them out?? 😉

    great post, i'm using orbx overlays for some of those extra trees 👍 LR need to think about adding alot more trees everywhere

    I'm blown away by XP12 lighting with orthos, hope we get this as default scenery soon! Enjoy this shot approaching EGMC 👍

    wow just flew into EKCH with flytampa's scenery (XP11 version), we need scenery like this everywhere!! It's quite stunning in XP12.

    yeh i have ortho for all of Europe ZL15-17 and used it in XP12 this morning. The problem is once you have got used to something better it's hard not to notice the stark difference

    Great post. To me XP12 was rushed out due to the dwindling numbers of XP users, hence a half developed product. Who would release a new sim with the same old scenery? Visuals have moved on to a whole new level and customers are expecting more. Having good 'physics' is no longer going to convince people to use XP as their chosen sim, or even some of the time with another product. Simming is partly an entertainment industry and LR needs to realise this.

    good: what a stable sim, for an early access product LR did a great job on not giving us any CTDs
