Hello all !Just bought ASE a week ago , been looking a long time for a program like that.With the release of ORBX's NZSI, i was very excited to fly in that region and wanted the mostaccurate weather.i just had my first flight from NZLX to NZQN , a short 29 nm to test the new scenery and , of course, ASE.Now, according to ASE's report at NZQN, temp. shows 0,3 /-5 with scattered clouds, wind speed at 0 and im locked to the closest station.So decided to compare that report to one i found on the internet at metservice.com and found out that NZQN's temp is 23 c.partlycloudy with winds a 13 , gust at 20 !I want to know if i'm using this program correctly.Here is my setting; Option-Cloud option- Prevent cloud redraws checked.FSX specific-Depiction mode-Direct weather control checkedWhen i want to load the latest weather, i go to Historical-i use Offline static data-Single date and time.Leave the Metar download GMT date and time as it is and press the download buttom, and then after i openFSX and fly.Just hope im doing the things right and need your advice about the temperature difference.Excuse my englishWolf

I decided to change my old pc : a P4 2.8 with 1 G of ram, ATI 1600 ....to something that would hopefully run FS2004 with all the bells and whistles, all slidersto the right. I will fly mostly in Europe with addons such as : Aerosoft german and spanish airports as wellas others. Full traffic with woai, Ground Environment 2006 , Ultimate terrain Europe, PMDG 737 andREX for FS9 when available....My new system would be a : Intel dual E8600 at 3.33 Ghz, 2X1 gigs of DDR ram, G9800 GTX+ 5122 seagate 500 Gs 7200 32m in raid 0, Win XP SP3.I need some advise on a good mobo for this system and would like to know if i would see a increase or performance with DDR3 ram vs DDR2 ramAnyone with the same system ? Do i have enough power ? And please dont try to get me into FSX, Im looking for incredible framerates an a smooth flying experience.....Thank you

when i fly the FS2002 , no matter what aircraft , where and how , the FS2002 will crash at one point or another. i'v got an microsoft error message. Any hints ?????

Hello allWhat i'm actualy trying to do is: use the king airpanel and virtual cockpit with the fs2002 dash 8-100i can use the panel itself by placing the panel folderinto the dash8 folder but wont have the VC.I heard that the answer is in the MDl file, is it possible to use that Vc on another airplane ?Help appreciated....Louis

Hi allJust downloaded here at avsim the cfg and a air fileto make the original dash 8 flyable, also copied the panelfiles from the king air , 2D panel is fine but the virtual cockpitdoes not appear, why ? am i missing some files (vc shows on the king air)or maybee a line in the panel cfg (same as the king) ???I need help !thanks.
