  1. Thanx for the info. I may go ahead for a refund. I use a freakin lot PM, as well as Ghost to alter my HDD and system and realy work with my PC as I am a pro PC Admin. Just 'cause I have not done any resizing with PM lately I have not experienced this "feature" of PMDG software myself yet. But resizing doesnt make Windows XP pro to cry for a code by Microsoft Support for unlocking it again like other actions do. So I guess moving the entire partition of FS2k2 by Ghost will trigger this lovely protection software as well. That means that I will having a lot of e-mails back and forth with PMDG when I have to maintenance my PC again and more often - so in order to enjoy my FS2kX hobby? That is just a little bit out of what I would call enjoyment with a hobby! I can understand when I have to do such protection stuff when buying a realy expensive software like "3D Studio Max" which costs about
  2. Dir Sir Robert S. Randazzo,I may respectly hight lighte that ACLoader does take your reference datum position in account and so doesnt change anything about your own wanted centre of weight and balance like when your B737 would be loaded with your own loader. And after the next soon to come update, even the Z axe will be adressed correctly by ACLoader and no manual workaround would be needed. I even experienced some very weird behaviour what matters the trim of your B737-600 after only using your loader and not ACLoader. I even provided you with screenshots but never got a reply about the trim issue.May I respectly remind you to first think about that just maybe ACLoader could have a better effect with the flight dynamics than your own, because it was programmed, developed and tested to enhance the feel and the handling to a more realistic level of ALL aircrafts of FS2k2.If you dont like that some of your customers do commercial announcements to hightlight another payware ADDON software in this forum, please say so. But please do not say "never" and "only" without providing your statements with arguments out of own experiences and logic by first having tried out ACLoader yourself, so you can tell us where and why ACLoader works less good than your own loader. As a Beta-Tester I have a lot of experience with ACLoader version 3 and 4, I tested both over the last two years with about all payware and freeware aircraft you may find at all anywhere for download or to by in a front store shop. So, It may happen that I know what I am talking about. And please do not take my statements here too personaly, just out of having a bad day or night. I know my word may seem to be a lot of critism and I seem to argue with you, but that is not what I have in mind doing. If you do not already make a lot of money by selling your new and latest software and that may be the reason for your way of writing, than I am more than sorry. So, please have first a try out and find out yourself it ACLoader works better or not than your own loader. Here is a place where you can find more information:http://www.fsflightdeck.com/acloader.htmlI wish you a very nice and productive day though. With a lot of respect for your hard work of developement...>Gents->>Currently the ONLY loader that will perform correctly with our>airplane is our own.>>The reason for this is that we used a reference datum that was>accurate to Boeing specs rather than making the reference>datum match the "normal MSFS postion.">>As such, using a non PMDG aircraft loading can cause some>unwanted behavior such as:>>1) Exceeded nose weight.>2) Exceeded tail weight.>3) Unstable Mach trim condition.>>As we continue to diagnose SOME of the reports of cruise>flight spins, we are finding that this is the circumstance.>>Hope that sheds a tiny bit of light!>>
  3. Hi,I am a Beta-Tester of ACLoader 4.x. So, how did you fix the problem, that when you use ACLoader, the "reference datum position" in the Z axe is 2,097 feet off, 'cause ACLoader puts it down to zero, but the original value was 2,097. So, all stuff like lights, engines, smoke, cockpit etc. will get off by this error after you loaded the TNG by ACLoader. So, please WAIT untill Scott has released the update where ALL axes will be adressed and computet by ACLoader when you load the B737TNGs.But anyway, I just believe and know that loaded with ACLoader will and does make a BIG difference in performance etc. of the PMDG B737TNG. ACLoader is the best ADDON software what matters loading PAX and Cargo into any FS2k2/4 aircraft.Thank you for posting it, even so it is a bit too early though.>For those of you that may be concerned:>>I made a backup of my NG aircraft.cfg file and then proceeded>to load the aircraft with the ACLoader>(http://secure.simmarket.com/product_info.php?products_id=457)>program.>>It worked like a charm and to be quite honest with you the>aircraft performed better with the ACLoader than with the 737>load editor.>>Thanks>>Wilson Hines>UAL006|UPS1008|CX776>-------------------------------------->Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727>--------------------------------------->ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2>--------------------------------------->Athlon XP 2600+|Thermaltake Volcano 7+|Gigabyte GA-7VXP>(rev1.1)|Geil PC3200 512MB|GeFarce Ti4600|Antec 1060 SOHO|WD>120 GB 8MB round cables|Lite-On 48X CDRW|Razer Boomslang|19">NEC FE950 & 19" Sony Trinitron| Saitek X45 throttle and>stick|HP Scanner and DeskJet 890C|MS Win XP SP1|>>http://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg
  4. Hi,uh, I see, have been with your parents or alike over the long weekend with 4th July friday, right?Ok, no problem with that. I just cannot fly or try out more of the B737TNG while I cannot feed the FMC with any flightplan by FSBuild or FSNav. So, that's way I am so nuts about your update liek many others here.Thanx a lot!>Hi again,>>>'till today right now I have not gotten any e-mail from you.>I'd >love to read any reaction if you would provide me with a>beta >version or not.>>>>>>Thank you a lot in advanced.>>Hi,>>Sorry, was a holiday weekend here in the US, I was away for a>couple of days.>>You will receive an email from me shortly.>>Regards.>>Ernie.>>
  5. Hi Andre, did you get a beta-copy of the update yet? If so, would you send it to me?
  6. Hi again,'till today right now I have not gotten any e-mail from you. I'd love to read any reaction if you would provide me with a beta version or not.Thank you a lot in advanced.
  7. Hi Ernie,I have justz send you a e-mail. I guess you still sleep after the party last nite if you are an US guy and cannot reply sooo early. But if you are a european... In your own forum I found your compuserve e-mail addy. I'd love to try out your beta and report if and what doesnt work as should. I was already a beta-tester for ACLoader4. Maybe there is a way how FSBuild and ACLoader could exchange data to each other directly? Exporting a flightplan to ACLoader or importing the aircraft data for comuting the flightplan more accuratly? Just a thought...>>would you care to go into more detail on how we use FSbuild>to >export a flightplan to the PMDG 737 FMC?>>He was speaking of the near future. the export option is in>the FSB 2.01 update. >>Its beta now, so since you're a registered FSB user, send me>an email and I will send it to you.>>Regards.>>Ernie.>
  8. >Hi Torben,>>>I mean the design, not the weard missuse of physics what>matters the "reference datum position" which has to be the>construction and aviational dynamic center of an aircraft, if>I understand it right what I have learned by now.You understand wrong. The reference_datum_position has no>bearing on the flight dynamics or aircraft physics per se, it>is merely a reference point, in relation to which the>aircraft's geometry is determined. The point can be chosen>arbitrarily. For ease of use, it is advisable (but not>necessary) for an FDE designer to stick with the reference>point the Gmax model designer has chosen to build the aircraft>around.>>As to the fuel imbalance, saying that changing the number of>tank selectors from 1 to 3 'doesn't work at all' is a very>sweeping statement, if you don't know what this is actually>supposed to do. So, here goes: Changing the number of>selectors to 3 will disable the fuel selctors within FS,>ensuring it always stays on 'All'. But fuel usage is also>controlled by other parameters in the FDE and fuel gauge,>which haven't been changed. So you will observe slightly>different behaviour in the three aircraft. With the 737-600,>the change of selectors works fine, until your fuel reserves>get a bit low (somewhere between 5000 and 6000 lbs total). In>the 737-700, you'll have an uneven fuel burn from the>beginning, so you'd be better off leaving the selector at '1',>in order to enable cross-feeding. I haven't checked the>behaviour on the winglet version yet.Well, I surely dont know how PMDG programmed the fuel consumtion logic. I guess the way DF and Ariane did it doesnt work soo badly wrong, does it? But with the -600 value 3 doesnt work so good, but value 2 works better. I havent checked with the -700 version. But anyway, I see a bug here as well with the memory use and so the FPS is wrong and too heavy. Even for the customers with a hight updates system with the latest and best hardware. And somehow the trim seems weard as well that the engine gen and APU gets a silent firewarning and the fire extinguesher bottles engages in mid-flight. And when back on the ground I cannot start the engines again anymore without reloading the aircraft. I know I didnt do any wrong how I use and fly the aircraft, so without having any failure activated in the menu, there should be NO problem at all, right? These are some bugs which should never have get passed unseen through beta-phase.
  9. Hi,has the TRIM issue been adressed already?Somehow it looks not very good, is it a bug? Here is a screenshot, says more than many words...http://www.t-a-h.com/pmdg-trimm.jpghttp://www.t-a-h.com/pmdg-trim2.jpgWhat about the trim, it seems to be too much nose-down and when I trim for takeoff about the middle, I get up like a rocket and loosing speed fast! Is it right that the plane flys like that but with the trim so much nose-down?
  10. Well, have a look here and find your best nvidia driver yoi may like...http://www.guru3d.comIt's the only place where I get my driver and I had never any problems with the GF4 and these drivers...
  11. Hi,ah yes, my fault. I doo understand it right, but sometimes I get confused using the right words in english. Well, It is not for every one, but for the already paying customers. I see it as a free gift, 'cause it is very pleasant for these customers whom have to work as webmaster or system administrator etc. and have to change often certain system parameters etc. of the PC and Windows. I as well work in this businuess and change quite often the system. So, here we have the FIRST product which gives us this time to not getting nervous when wanting to enjoy this hobby and the B737TNG after a "big" change in the system. BUT what about when just moving the partition where the FS2k2 is completely by Norton Ghost to another new Harddrive? Will I get this message of faulty maschine code or alike? You may know that the new drive and new size and order of partitions change big time, even when the name of the logic drive is the same as befor so the registration stuff of windows will still work... Radar Contact has no problem with it, ah, no other product as a FS2k2 addon has a problem with it. For windows it aint a big deal having a new harddrive. It would be a GIFT if these 10 days grace would work as this protection stuff in a hardcore situation what may be a normal situation for some of us. So it would be a real nice and usefull free period for using the PMDG B737 between legal install and registration process.>"(...) provide us anyway with a solution to get this 10 days>free use periode working (...)">>Torven, there is nothing "free" about the 10 days period. One>can only install the plane after having paid 40 dollars, so>where does the "free" concept come in? PMDG's wording of a 10>days period of "grace" isn't too clear or realistic either.>They make it seem like they're doing us a favor by "giving" us>those ten days, but truly and verily: it's a LIMITATION, not a>"gift"!>>I really think PMDG should not make their customers go through>this hassle. In fact, after having received the payment of 40>dollars, the *only* thing PMDG is supposed, expected and>legally required to do is to promptly, swiftly and without any>bother at all provide their customers with the full and>unrestricted enjoyment of the purchased product. >>Jaap Verduijn.
  12. Hi,no comment about the fuel management and maybe about this loader programm from you guys? Where can I get my hands on a fuel planner?Sorry for picking on that... And ah, I guess your beta tester got for free a complete copy of the B737-600/700TNG for free - they cannot get fired 'cause they already did the job, didnt they? More or less though... ;o)Well, besides some issues you will adress and fix very soon in a patch, the aircrafts are realy nice and I love it already - I mean the design, not the weard missuse of physics what matters the "reference datum position" which has to be the construction and aviational dynamic center of an aircraft, if I understand it right what I have learned by now.>>Great work, even though some bugs should never have gotten>through beta-test phase...>>OK - we're firing all our beta testers, after this comment,>then...>>:-lol :-lol
  13. Guys,====================Fuel TanksImbalance--------------Q) Sometimes, when I have already loaded my 737NG aircraft, with the Engines Off, the fuel pump selector is always on the left side of the menu and it can
  14. Hi PMDG team, well, it may already been adressed... But anyway...The Z button fuction of connecting/disconnecting AP by my CH YOKE doesnt work anymore only with the PMDG B737TNG as well as fuel cutoff switches I am used to work by my CH-YOKE doesnd to anything anymore. Why not and will that be patched? Why is there no smoke effect of the engines? No dynamic smoke and contrails effects are to be seen while at groudn taxiing and in the air flying, that is a tad disapointing.Ah, changing the tnak selector to 3 instead of 1 doesnt do any good. I got a inballance of fuel: right was soon half way eaten and left tank was almost full....The PMDG Loader software is a joke compared to PSS or DF and is almost nothing compared to ACLoader4. Sorry but even a Fuelplaner together with a good working Loader cannot be found within what I installed.Regards...
  15. Hi Krister, well, thanx for understanding my language problem. 'till now I got the reg code key etc. and have had my first flight. It was not bad at all. Just the already known problems about fuel usage of just first ine tank and getting inbalanced situation. I red the posts and so I didnt even tried to use the FMC computed descent but descented manualy by setting up the AP by hand. Thanx nature I git FSBuild 2 and will get the update where I can export plans to the PMDG B73xTNG. But I am somehow unpleased not being able to import any FS2k2 flightplans like in PSS and DF panels. Another topic may be the loader... I love the ACLoader4 from Scott, cause it is much more accurate and tells me even how much fuel I will need etc. But PMDG uses the reference datum position not at the physical centre of the aircraft but where the cockpit is located. Thats weared and can only be done in such a simulation like FS2kX... And how realistic is it that just one value gets modified by the PMDG Loader not all the passanger and cargo positions along the x and y axes? Even the PSS and DF Loader software are much better. So, now whe have B737TNG aircrafts which are centered at the cockpit location what is not realistic at all... Who am I to judge? :7 >Torben,>>there is a thread at the top "Registration instructions>**please read** that should help you out.>>Yep, communicating in a foreign language can be quite tricky>when trying to convey your true intentions. It's hard to know>how people will react to certain words or phrases especially>since different people interpret them in different ways and>according to how they WANT to interpret it. :)>>However for one "pilot of an older Boeing airplane">communicating in a civil manner in ANY language seems to be>impossible.>>/Krister
  16. Hello, still I got no help how to use your software this 10days try-out-periode. But I got the code by e-mail from you at 07:50h GMT 07-02-2003. I have to work making some money now and will have a try if the code works this afternoon GMT about 17:00h GMT. maybe you could provide us anyway with a solution to get this 10 days free use periode working. I am one of your customers whom changes essetial system settings and OS software and components from time to time and will love to have a working 10days periode. I dislike it when RadarContact doesnt work anymore untill I send and wait about the new code by e-mail. But I do not spent all my awaik time playing around with FS2k2, I got some hourse a day doing my work. I hope I express myself clear enough, 'cause english is not my native language. Sometimes I use too hard choosen words when I try to express my feelings. I have too few of practise training english. So, sadly no one at any forum helps me by correcting me and teaching some english, but reacting unpleased about the way how I write. My sign tells everyone that I am not an nativ english speaker/writer...Have a nice day though...
  17. Hi,I am sorry, but while I fly or while I am off duty, I dont run my professional WinXP Pro account/profile where I have Outlook watching what is going on about e-mails. Do you know how much spam I get every minute 'cause I am a MultiMedia Producer with 4 top-level-domains and more E-Mail accounts than I can count? So, I cannot reply to any E-Mail in time or keep them sorted without the help of Outlook and some nice AntiSpam filter I run within Outlook XP.Now where you have gotten my attention, I look manualy through my main mailbox online with an webmailer I can use. But I am sorry again, I cannot see any E-Mail you may have send me directly. With what e-mail addy did you mail me? I have some automated filter functions in my e-mail provider account, it may happen that some e-mail get filtered so I even will not see them in my inbox.Ah, sorry again, I tend to use too strong words when I am not pleased about a software that doesnt go as the producer write/tell me it would work. I have to deal with such a hugh big bunch of buggy software I need to work with in order to make money, that I am at the end of my nerve very fast and soon. MS doesnt produce sooo much good and working software without bugs... And I cannot use EXPENSIVE MAC I dont have the money for and Linux has not its abillities around with multimedia, 3D Graphic programms, digital video stuff etc. So, I spent a lot of money for using FS2k2 ADDONS and I dont like seeing bugs and faulty software even at the beginning of a release of new ones. I know some time has passed since the first real good 3th party ADDON producer released and start patching and updateing its product. I know, it is the hardest thing to satisfy every customer no matter which what system they try to work and install your software - every system is unique and different. I am no foule what matters Windows 95 to XP - I get money being able to handle and work with it, that means from installing and giving lessons and traing how to setup a client PC and how to work and handle it in about every level, to produce WebSites that works ok at every OS someone may use. MAX OS 9.x to OS X.2, SuSe 7.3 to 8.2, Redhat, Windows 95, NT4, 2k, XP... Same goes with animations, 3D Graphics, Videos etc. You may see that I may have tried about all but reinstall FS2k2 clean. I use 54 GB of HDD space for FS2k2 with all ADDONs and so I dont go easily for a clean new installation of it. It would need days to get it working as it should and does now without your Software. But besides of that, I try to delete all you may have installed in my system and reinstall from the base pack clean. No, these 10 days are over and out even befor the end of the first one. Well, I have other things to do than just hanging around your new product. I fly with Ariane B735 and a DF737 panel, loaded with ACLoader4.03 and enjyoing some weather software addons and stuff like that why flying. Soon I have to go get some sleep while your early evening starts...So, dont take it too personaly, but I dont like to spent hourse fixing my PC in order to run software that I bought for my hobby, not to make my money with it...>Torben->>PLEASE instead of raising havoc on separate threads, TRY to>read the threads after you post in them - I have tried on>THREE separate occasions to get you to email me privately, so>that I can PERSONALLY assist you with problems you might be>having.>>UNLESS you contact me, though, there's VERY LITTLE I can do to>help!>>Thanks,
  18. Hi there, dito with me. Cannot fly it these max. 10 days 'till my e-mail gets replies with a code. I am somewhat not realy pleased, 'cause everywhere you can read else about the fly-befor-buy thing!Have a nice day/nite though...>did that....would have been alot easier if you had>implemented an unintall rutine....not even in remove apps does>it show up.>>And still nada.....still got same thing plastered all over my>screen.>And no...I did not remove any folders or anything.>>I suggest you go find the email I send to registration and>have my key send imidiatly so I can even try it thanks.>>>Tom
  19. Hi,I just removed the FlightManager dll "FlightComp2k2F9.dll" and now all of the reg stuff works. But how can I install your B737 another last time clean to be able to use it till I get the reg code by e-mail from you?
  20. Sure I can try this. Well, I just will move the 3th party dll's out of the moduls folder somewhere save and have a try. I had the FlightManager installed and when I click "About PMDG" I get some warnings about FlightManager. Another thing is that now after I installed your 737TNG the 3th time I get the warning message "Your PMDG license is invalid or has inspired". Whatever is happening with my system, it aint good!Besides FlightManager I have about all of Lago Products for FS2k2 installed and Jeppesen. That's all.>Torben->>hmm... this is an interesting thing you're mentioning.>>Mind going through some trouble for us, please? (I don't have>all the add-ons you have installed there, so I need to have>you help me out here!):>>If you be so kind, could you start uninstalling the other>add-ons I see in the menu bar, one by one, until the>registration starts working? Once that happens, I'll contact>the author of that add-on and try to see why we're clashing.>>Thanks,
  21. Hi,what code in the menu??? When I click this extent Reg all what happens is that I get a confusing new situation. No number, no code, but often a crash to the desktop. I hope it has nothing to do that I use WinXP Pro Sp1a DX9a all in a german version as well with FS2k2 in german. If it has something to do with my german version of FS2k2 and WinXP, I gonna go for a refund. That is not something what should happen! I cannot find any generated code, nor does any automated e-mail gets created like CaptainSim does (no matter if I may have or have not configured a e-mail software), no nothing at first sight. When I look into my modules folder, I see a new folder named in a funny code of numbers. But what now? Did I miss any step anywhere written? And why do I get into a new but confusing and without an soft exit situation within FS2k2 when running this extent registration software? Sorry, but whatever funny software protection stuff you use on my system, it doesnt seem to work very well. So, I guess I gonna go for a refund. I expected that you would have taken all the time needed and even more to as well test this registration stuff at so freaking many systems and OS XP versions that such problems dont appear! Sorry guys, but I cannot hold myself back, I am ######. The first impression of the aircraft is superb and drolling, but all of it should work as you wrote at this forum and at your WebSite. Ah... nother thing is that NO failure manager or anything about the failure management comes up when I click at it in the FS2k2 PMDG menu entry. Ah, did I missunderstand that this will be included when I buy the next step of your developement the 800/900 aircrafts? Maybe I didnt read about that, but if so, I am not pleased as well!>I think you got it wrong. You need to mail the purchase code>that you find in the mail sent to you after you ordered the>plane + the code that you will see in the registration menu in>MSFS. Later on you will get a new code by mail. THAT code must>be entered into the empty field in the registration menu... At>least that
  22. Hi again,I didnt find any deinstall program and there was no entry in my software list within WinXP Pro german version SP1a. So, I deleted what I could find new and related to your ADDON and installed it all new again. Well, same problem now. Nothing happens but whatever aircraft I start with, when I wanna use this "extent registration" I get a new situation in spotview hight at about FL200 without any textures but the B736.here is a screenshot...http://www.t-a-h.com/pmdg.jpgPlease be so kind and help us out here befor this 10 days are over...>It is in the FS2002 menu bar, there is a new entry called>PMDG.>>>
  23. Hi there,I tried to activate this registration process out of the menu in FS2k2, but I get only warped to somewhere very high and without textures shown in the spotview. No, FS2k2 just crashes back to my desktop when I try this reg process. Nothing else happens.I will deinstall it and reinstall it all over again now and see if that does any good.
