  1. Hi..... I've just started getting this problem!!! :( :( Has anyone found a cure for it yet? I see there was no reply posts from PMDG at all. John
  2. In FS9 my MD-11 shows the letters "MF PMDG BG" above the cockpit window in spot view. I have done a repaint for our VA using the painkit and with the passenger version these letters have not shown up, which is good..........but in the cargo version they show up on my repainted livery, which is not good!I have done a thorough search through all the files for both the PMDG livery and my new repaint but I cannot find these letters on any of them so I am unable to delete them.I assume they are supposed to be there on the original PMDG house livery but can you please tell me how I can remove them from my repainted livery? Many thanks.John :(
  3. I followed the instructions on pages 57-58 of the MD-11 Introduction manual for the XP memory fix as I am having out of memory problems, but all did not go well.:-( I downloaded and installed the 4G patch and then went to the My Computer/Properties/Advanced/Settings/Edit page and added the /3G as directed so it ended up looking like this........(boot loader)timeout=30default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS(operating systems)multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect/3GAll I added was the /3G.When I rebooted the computer the screen came up in low resolution and the Device Manager showed that the graphics card had been disabled. (NVidia GeForce 8800GTS)I've obviously done something wrong somewhere so could you please point me in the right direction to rectify the problem. Many thanks.John
  4. All a bit confusing this to the uninitiated..........But.........are you saying that with SP2 installed to FSX the OOM problem should disappear?Thing is, I have SP2 installed and also have the OOM problem!!In which case what is my next move?WinXP 32bit.John
