How do I change the colour of the radio dispays?
Thank you Dave! At least it wasn't me who screwed something up :) I share your opinion on the backlighting and I just liked the white displays better.@Daniel: White figures are super realistic as well. It just depends on which aircraft you're in. I've never seen anything but white displays :)

How do I change the colour of the radio dispays?
After installing SP 1c my radio dsiplays turned orange instead of white. I've serched the manuals for guidance but I'm probably to stupid or ignorant (or both) to find the answer.I would be most grateful if someone could help me so I can get the white figures back.

What type of flights to people prefer
In real life more than 20 minutes straight and level gets a bit tedious and it gets even more so in the sim ;-)

Daniel,Serch for pmdg_737ngx_800wl_6b_v3.zip at avsim and you wil get Patrik Soderstroms version of SE-DZV with a correct panel file. I don't think any of TUI:s many airlines use the -700 just the -800

Yet another thustproblem
Well it seems normal to me and maybe someone with a 737 rating will confirm. You should also be aware of that slopes are simuleted in FSX even if you cant see it so if you taxi downhill you will pick upp speed faster.Take care out there :-)

Yet another thustproblem
Hi Niklas,I'm a newbie and still trying to learn as muc as I can about the PMDG 737 but as far as I know taxi thrust seems correct. Depending on a/c weight you have to use the brakes to slow down from time to time. The idle rpm seems to be about right. After a normal landing you should be able to taxi to the gate without touching the throttlesI've been riding jumpseat a few times so at least i have picked up some information from that...........BTW: Are you the same Niklas that operates a litlle yellow aircraft ;-)

CO Routes
The Flight Planner in FSX isn't at all bad. You get all airway numbers which makes FMC programming a bit easier. The only thing too look out for is the choice of intersections close to the airports which can be a bit strange. I usually make a Google search for SID/STAR procedures for each airport and I always find something useful so I can edit the FSX flightplan with the correct intersections for approach and departure. From there on it's quite easy to make your own routes. You can for instance look in the French and British AIP if you follow these links: http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/ https://www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/Hope this helps.......

Will repaint packages contain airline specific preferences?
Hello all, this is my first post in this forum!I bought the 737-800NGX less than a week ago so I'm still heads down in the manuals...........I agree completely with Ryan, there is no way to get the files 100 % right. I spent a couple of hours today with a close friend who flies 737-800 and we did our best to get the files correct for two specific aircraft individuals. Even he couldn't answer some of my questions about the settings since every airline operates in slightly different ways and does not use all the options available. One should also remember that an aircraft is just a bunch of spare parts flying in close formation. An aircraft which has steel brakes today might have carbon brakes in a couple of months, backup instruments could also be changed and so on.......I believe file sharing from those who really knows might be the best solution.
