  1. It happens during cruise. During cruise I demount my CH yoke to make room for workspace on my desk. Upon reaching out to the yoke and touching it, the engines sometimes cut off. On the 777 the engines and electrical system restart after a few seconds. On the 747 as well, but it leaves me with this RUDDER RATIO error message. I couldn't find any cure in the QRH, it lists some limitations but no real cure on how to get rid of it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Mark Jansen
  2. Hi, Does anyone know how to get rid of a RUDDER RATIO issue on the STS display? The issue came up after the engines shut down inflight after grabbing my joystick. That happens on multiple PMDG aircraft by the way, when I grab my joystick the engines shut off and spool up again a few seconds later. I've already tried to clear all emergencies but there are none active. Thanks for any replies! Best regards, Mark Jansen
  3. Hi Kyle, Tried both suggestions. I'm sure I ran the installer as an administrator. Also I've tried to re-download the file with another browser. Both didn't make any difference. I've checked P3D folder permissions, neither (SSD) harddisk report any errors when checked and no virus scanner or firewall is active. There is 184 GB free disk space on the P3D drive. Also, other PMDG products as well as P3D still run fine. Any other clues for me to get the installer working? Mark Jansen
  4. Hello, Upon installing the 747 I'm getting a "Feature transfer error", about halfway through the installation process. The installation is subsequently terminated. I've Googled the issue and followed some basic suggestions like running the installer as an admin, cleaning the user temp folder or rebooting Windows 10 in safe mode. Tried those things without succes. I've never encountered this error before, despite also using the PMDG 737NGX and 777 for P3D on the same machine. Any ideas? Thanks for your help! Best regards, Mark Jansen
  5. There's probably a more polite way of making your point Kyle, considering you represent PMDG and you're talking to potential future customers. Very little has been officially communicated lately by means of an "official" RSR-status update; in fact the last official update is from 3 months ago. Things that may be obvious to you and those involved in day-to-day testing may be left unnoticed to someone who's just interested in following the project and seeking for a status update. Correct me if I'm wrong, but It has not been officially mentioned which (sub)types will be included in the initial release. Neither a word on the P3D-version. An official status update of what to expect is appreciated and prevents questions that seem to annoy. Mark Jansen
  6. Kyle, Thanks for your explanation - apologies accepted although you should definately refrain from writing stuff like "it doesn't do you any good helping a customer out". It comes accross very harsh and impolite. Let me be more clear on the actual issue. The route string in the FSinn flightplan (PFPX output in ICAO format) always gets overwritten as soon as I use any of the uplink features in the 777. Doesn't matter whether I use the VATSIM prefile webpage or whether I file the flightplan manually by loading the flightplan inside FSinn and click "send to tower". Disabling the AUTO ALTN LIST UPLINK in the aircraft options doesn't seem to help. The issue doesn't happen on any other aircraft, it's definately related to the 777 uplink feature and that's why I've come to seek help at this place. I was hoping anyone here recognize the issue and/or have a solution. Thanks in advance! Mark Jansen
  7. Kyle, The problem I encounter -as illustrated in the image- happens specifically on the PMDG 777, after using the FMC uplink features. Is it really a crime to seek for help on the forum of the developer? I am a loyal customer; it's the first time I've used this forum to seek for help on an issue. I do not wish to be talked to like you did. In case you don't want to help - fine. Just don't reply next time and don't set a negative tone in the subject. Anyone else has an idea what the issue might be? Best regards, Mark Jansen
  8. Hi everyone, Using the PMDG 777 with ActiveSkyNext, PFPX and FSinn, I find my flightplan messed up after using one of the uplink features of the FMC. This is what happens: I usually prefile the flightplan through the VATSIM prefile webpage (which is why the route shows as EGLLEHAM01 in the image) but if I file the saved flightplan manually through FSinn, the same happens. Immideately after connecting to VATSIM, everything looks fine. After inputting the route and using the WIND UPLINK features of the FMC (or even the ALTN airport uplink, for that matter) the route immideately gets distorted. Anyone has a clue what causes the problem? Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards, Mark Jansen
  9. How do you guys disconnect the autopilot on final approach? If I press "Z" twice to cancel the horn, it engages the autopilot again on the 2nd keypress. What am I doing wrong? :) Also, is it normal that the autothrottle off light (just above the navigation display) has to be pressed to stop the warning? Thanks for any replies! Mark
  10. I have exactly the same issue, both with manually saved flights as well as it AutoSave saved flights. Very annoying since FSX has a tendancy to crash regularly. I'd like to see this fixed with high priority. Thanks!Mark Jansen
  11. Hi everyone, First: thanks PMDG for this nice product! One of the issues I am dealing with is that FSX crashes upon loading a situation file that was automatically created using AutoSave (included in FSUIPC). This always worked fine with the MD11 and B744. Is this a known issue? Not sure if it actually happens with self created situation files too. Thanks!Mark Jansen
  12. Hi everyone,Does anyone have an idea why my engines are switched off automatically every time I exit slew mode in FSX? It seems to happen with all addons, even default planes. The only key I use to enter/exit slew mode is Y, which is not assigned to switching off the engines. Thanks for any reply!Mark Jansen
  13. Hi,Are you sure it is "Zeestern" and not "Zeester"?I have not seen any pics of this aircraft on the known sites so far. Better delay it for a short while and make sure the name is OK, then releasing a version now with a wrong name on it.I'll try to find it out and let you know. Thanks and regards from a sunny Schiphol airport,Mark JansenThe Netherlands

    TCAS

Hi George,It works now for me too with FS2004 internal setting, however I can see my own aircraft constantly also as a yellow symbol, accompanied by the message "traffic" displayed on the right of the map display. Do you guys have the same?Regards,Mark Jansen

Guys,When flying online at networks like VATSIM, do I need AIBridge to display the traffic? The manual does not mention it but I hear some people saying that AIBridge is needed.Regards,Mark Jansen
