Much credit to all who put it together but, for me, it is a ###### to learn.I've spent two days reading and installing and the "startup" tutorial is way too slow and I can't even see the B1900 panel.Frustrating, for sure.Anyone know of a really simple tutorial outside of FG?

Thanks, BAW, I did a regedit on FSX and found a bunch of leftovers.Deleted them and that seems to solve the problem.I thought Thrustmaster had no software for the FoxPro2. Thanks again,. JimD

I've given up on FSX and reinstalled FS9 Now my Thrustmaster Fox2 Pro (USB) will taxi and do a takeoff roll but won't get very far off the ground. Have i got a setting screwed up? BTW..the FSX problem was that I NOW can't use my video card whereas it used to work albeit not very good definition. TNX JimD

No problem.Yeah...I got a flight up.Procedure is quite different than FS9.......why I'll never know.FSX is too big for my computer however so I'm removing it until I got something faster.

Well...............I'm glad this matter provides a little hilarity for you.I was controlling traffic at NYARTCC probably before you were very old so I know a bit about flight plans.MS could be a little more careful in the use of the terminology.But thanks anyway.

I guess I've got some weird glitch going on here.BTW..I can't get the Free Flight page to go full screen so maybe that's why I can't see the fly now button.I have six flight plans (through Flight Planner) that got saved in (A) My Doc....FX Flight Plans...etc and NONE in the (:( LOAD FLIGHT page.I guess I gotta figure out how to get the A plans in B.I'll go check out the Learning Center again.Thanks all for your interest

Ok...thanks all for the responses.I don't know if I'm stupid or what......but.....I followed your last line instructions....and......up comes a screen - "Do you want FS to................ go to the airport.........."If I click Yes I go back to the light a/c page...........If I click NO.....same thing!

OK that seems simple enough but when click the load button I go to "Load Flight" page and NONE of the saved flights are there and the Fly Now button is shaded out!

Finally got FSX and installed.First screen has the light a/c.I use "flight planner" to set up several flights from KBTV to nearby A/Ps.FSX will save the flights in "My Documents" but not in the one tied to the "load" button.I can't find the "fly now" button anywhere when trying to fly.What's going on?Any help appreciated

Thanks, OPA...I was trying to bring up the KBTV "modified" file that I had deleted.Once I got to the "stock" file everything went copasetic!Man, that AFCAD manual is worth a semester of study!JD

Hey, folks.......is there a quick and easy way to reinstall KBTV which I deleted while fooling around with AFCAD?I 'd rather not have to rebuild the whole thing and wonder if I could find it on one of the FS9 discs.JD

Sorry can't quite buy that.At least two sites I frequent (only a quick check) Sampson AFB Veterans and Korean War Vets do not require cookies and all features are available.JimVT

With ALL due respect to the AVSIM honchos, requiring cookies is a royal pain in the butt.Even with firewalls and filters I get tens of tracking cookies stuck in my files every day when some site requires cookies.Cookies may be an aid, in some small way, to the site operator in identifying a user but each time I encounter a cookie requirement I have to go to Internet Tools, Privacy and unblock!Is't logging in enough?Again, I appreciate all you folks do but toss the cookies out the cargo hatch.JimVT

Folks may be interested in reading the USAF Safety Center report released today in the Burlington(VT) Free Press about an F-16C crash last April.Pilot Col. Doug Fick lost the runway on a really crappy IFR night last April and clipped the approach lights, KBTV localizer antenna and some rabbit lights then skidded 6000 feet down the r/w.He was fine.Col.
