Easiest jet aircraft

Featured Replies

What is the easiest jet aircraft to fly. I'd like to go KBTV to KBOS a little faster. TNX

Depends if you prefer Boeing or Airbus. I'd say the Default Boeing 737 on FSX or FS2004 is the best way to learn your first flights in a jet. This model does not require Flight Management Computers and has basic Autopilot (and will follow your flightpath on the GPS with Autopilot). When you get comfortable around that one then you can step up to the PMDG 737 to learn the systems. If you prefer Airbus then their is also a default A321 that comes with FSX, operating that one is as easy as the default 737. I prefer Boeing over the Airbus so I would nudge you in the direction of the 737. An A321 is computerised with a side stick and with a 737 you get to actually fly the airplane with a yoke and hydraulics. Cheers

Thanks, Mate. I'll check it out.

LOL - Well did you see that Mythbusters when they landed an Airbus to see if the myth is true in a film when a pilot is unconscious and someone else lands the plane???

I think that episode of mythbusters was a load of junk. They went from complete idiots pushing and pulling the side stick to nice fluid movements and ok situation awarness. Talk about made for TV. LOL Alan

I think it was typical Mythbusters screwing around at first but then started to focus on the task at hand when it started to count.....I do the same thing as well. I'm only human and that is what we do....Mess around but can take things seriously as well Cheers
