  1. HiI'm setting up a WidsFS PC and I'm having some problems with launching GE Pro on the WideFS PC I have tested AS6 over the network (WideFS) (no flightplan) and it writes the weather on the FS PC with no problems. When I launch a flightplan and AS6 is starting up GE pro I get a Graound environment error as; "no path found" and after accepting the error message twice I get "processing complete, you can now start the flightsim on the server"in the AS6 option menu ; I've enabled GE Pro Submit on new FP, force sky GE Pro, use fetched station for GE Pro AS6 using build 533, and GE Pro v 2.13Any ideas on where the problem is?AS6.INI//ASv6.5 configuration file Build 533[General]WindowPosX = 495WindowPosY = 495DefaultWeatherFolder = Z:FS9Modules (is installed on D drive on PC server, mapped to use letter Z:)SuppressionCeiling = 10000SurfaceWindLimit = 10FS9Path = Z:FS9 (is installed on D drive on PC server, mapped to use letter Z:)PersonalAppDataFolder = Y:Documents and SettingsReid St
  2. I have the same issue after i updated the AS6 with the B479,SU4.After one hour I got up to 6 ASG icons in the sys tray. This is whether I use FSautostart or not.Any news on this subject?Reid
  3. HiI've used the AS6 and ASG since its release with all the latest patches, but in the ASG option menu for cloud sets the option for DXT cloud set is blanked out. In other words, I can't set it on.Render to texture is set on in FS9I thought all cloud sets was wrapped in the installer or is this a separat download file?ThanksReid
  4. I'm in the same position as Greg. Thanks for the information! Great support as usual.ReidENZV

  6. Really nice piece of work there!Incredible scenery as well. Keep up the good work.ReidENZV
  7. Hi allGlad you all enjoyed it!The scenery can be found here at the Avsim file libraryDo a search for tncm9v1.zip There is also an update for this scenery. The scenery is made by Jimmy Martin ReidENZV
  8. Just want to share this video with you all.PMDG737/747 and the Level-D 767It's over 12 minutes long video, 74 MB file, so people with low bandwith could take a little trip outside before it's fully downloaded. :+Enjoyhttp://home.lyse.net/ReidsFlyZone/St.Maart...%20rwy%2009.wmvReidENZV
  9. >Hi Reid,>>Great movie. I realy like your zoomed out cockpit view.>Can you post your Active Camera coordinates for this view?>>Regards,>HaromoHaromo, I use those default coordinates that's shiped with the AC and to soom out and in I only use the mousewheel.David, hope you'll enjoy all the time flyin' around here in Norway. There is lots of airports covered in that package and it's all for free. In addition you can take a look here on this site http://www.flightsim.no/file where you'll find lots of goodies with scenery, high quality mesh and other stuff.ReidENZV
  10. Thank you all for your kind words!David, The Norway Scenery can be found here:http://www.flightsim.no/norway/naframe_e.php?del=start_eCarl, maybe I'll make another 13 minutes later...who knows :-) , you better stay tuned!Christopher, do you have the latest version of the Windows media player? It could be worth a try to update to the latest version if this is the case.ReidENZV
  11. Glad you all liked it!I use FRAPS to record all my videos and in addition to that I also use Activecamera to get all kinds of different camera angels.I guess the problems with the wheels could either be the scenery or the changes I made in the aircraft.cfg with the contact points. You can also se at the end of the movie the angle of the stabilizer is quite dramatic. Must have something to do with the avionics and master switch that I forgot to switch on prior to this flight.ReidENZV
  12. Here is a video of this bird that shows a flight from ENGM to ENBO with the 772LRF in FedEx liveryIt's a 13 minutes film.Enjoy!http://home.lyse.net/ReidsFlyZone/FedEx%20772LRF.wmvReidENZV

  14. Witch version of Panda Titanium are you guys using?I just went from Norton to Panda and now Panda Titanium 2005 is deleting the ChilKatZip.dllI am using version 4.01.02 of Panda Titanium 2005TanksReid St
  15. Hi there,Well, i would think that if you use default values in AS and minimum weather default in FSUPIC you should be fine. After that is done you can try different settings yourself to see how things work.In my opinion thats the best way to do it cause there is a lot of different systems ie computersetups and so on out there. In the download zip file for FSUPIC its the FSUPIC.dll file and only that file that is copied over to FS9/modules folder.Reid St
  16. BillHow nice that you have your own stuff, but you didn't answer my simple question, will it display the WX on the ND?Reid St
  17. Yup, those winds can be normal at that level:) In other words, your in a jetstream.Reid St
  18. HiThis is the aircraft that I have waited for a long time now and I am really looking forward to the realese of it but I have to ask one question;I see in the ND that there is a WX radar and I wonder if this is turned on, will it display the WX if we use AS2004 or other types of weather engines? The freeware ACS-MD11 panel has this feature and if the PMDG MD11 doesn't have it, will you guys at PMDG consider to make this feature available in the future for the PMDG MD11 panel?Reid St
  19. Hi Damian and Jim!As always, the support your giving us is amazing. Thanks once again!Reid St
  20. Hi Jim, and thanks for your swift reply!Yes the panel and AS is matching, but that is because I've set the altimeter manually to the baro setting reported by AS. As you can see I'm at -150 feet AMSL:) and I should be approx 40 feet AMSL.If I hit the "B" key I get Q1013 and the AMSL is correct, but as you understand it differs to whats reported by AS.Just for the record, yesterday I had a flight with the PMDG and everything went as it always has, no problems at all.I would really like if someone could recreate this situation just to check if their system is working as it should and/or if they are getting the same results I have when the baro is as low as I've mention.ThanksReid St
  21. Well today it happend again, this time at ENBO where the baro at this moment is Q0973.See attached shot;http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/103224.jpgThe rw at ENBO is approx 40 feet AMSLWhats going on here, it seem to me that if the baro is < Q0980 the FS altitude setting is being messed up.Is there anyone else who is experience this problem when the baro pressure is low as this?Is it a bug in AS/FSUPIC or what?ThanksReid St
  22. Hi Mats,Well, as for the RA on ground it's because I changed aircrafts from the default Cessna over to the PMDG and took that snapshot just seconds after the sim had been reloaded.:( Thats the reason why you see the RA on ground.Reid St
  23. Hi again and thanks for your reply!Yes, I did refresh AS several times and I am sure I gave FS enough time to process the weather. As for the screenshot shown above with the PMDG cockpit, I used that so the baro setting could be seen better. I sow the problem when I was planing a flight with the flight1 ATR and at the time AS and FS had been active for atleast 10 minutes and as I've mention above, AS was refreshed several times. The same problem occurred at ENGM and I do know the baro at that time was exstremly low due to a heavy storm passing over southern parts of Norway. The baro was all the way down to Q0965 here at ENZV.I did for instance try another airport, not in Norway though but the local metar for that specific airport was set at Q0980 and that worked fine when I used the "B" key strokeI was just wondring if this is a problem in AS that it cant simulate baro pressures low as Q0965-970?The FSUPIC version I'm using is 3.44Thanks again for this great product and all your support!Reid St
  24. HiThis is my first post at this forum.I've have been a long time user of this incredible software and I haven't had much problems using it, but today I tryed to take a flight at ENZV with this metar in use;ENZV 081520Z 31036G47KT 9000 SHRA FEW010 BKN014 05/03 Q0970 TEMPO 3000 SHRASNGSThe problem I encountered was that I couldn't set the baro correctly in FS when I used the "B" key. All I got was 1014, and the FS ATIS reported 1013. (wind directions and all other information was correct)I can tell you that yesterday i did a complete re-install of AS because I moved the FS catalog from the C drive to the D drive.After the transfer the flightsim works great as it always has:)but the only problem I have now is the baro settings.pls see attached pic.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/102967.jpgAS ini;//AS2004.5 configuration file B163[General]WindowPosX = 105WindowPosY = 105DefaultWeatherFolder = D:FS2004ModulesActiveSky2004SuppressionCeiling = 4000SurfaceWindLimit = 10CloudLayerLimit = 5LocalSuppressionRange = 100MinimumVisibility = 0MaximumVisibility = 59LastPlanFolder = NONEIncreasedWake = FalseDisableWindsAloft = FalseForceTstormsWithCB = FalseAutoConvertPlanFiles = TrueDisableVisGraduation = FalseForceDestinationWeatherZone = FalsePreventIcing = TrueOnlineUpdates = TrueExtendedDestinationWindsForce = FalseGlobalWrites = FalseDepictFS9HazeLayer = TrueExtendTstormLayers = FalseDisableDirectWindControl = FalseVoicePlayback = TrueLocalSuppression = TrueStartupSound = TrueDisableGroundUpdates = FalseUseProxyServer = FalseFogLayerGeneration = TrueUpdateSuppression = TrueOvercastEnhancement = TrueIgnoreFSReadyStatus = FalseFSUIPCWindSmoothing = TrueLimitSurfaceWinds = FalseLimitCloudLayers = TrueAutoGlobalWriteToggle = TrueRainWithTS = TrueDisableUpperLayerGeneration = FalseVisibilitySmoothing = TrueDisableMessages = FalseAutoTimeZoneDetection = TrueUpdateInterval = 10VATSIMData = FalseZuluConversion = 1AloftPredictability = 100WindDriftRate = 0TAFProcessing = FalseEnforceVisibilityLimits = TrueWakeTurb = TrueStartPaused = FalseUseSystemTime = TrueDisableCAVOKClouds = FalseProxyAddress = NONEFSUPIC ini;WindSmoothing=YesWhiteMessages=NoThrottleSyncAll=NoGraduatedVisibility=NoLowerVisAltitude=0UpperVisAltitude=25000UpperVisibility=6000GenerateCirrus=NoWindShearSharp=NoUpperWindGusts=YesExtendMetarMaxVis=NoPatchSimApAlt=NoAutoClearWeather=YesExtendTopWind=NoWindSmoothness=5SmoothPressure=NoPressureSmoothness=5SmoothVisibility=YesVisibilitySmoothness=2MaxSurfaceWind=0WindLimitLevel=200WindDiscardLevel=400WindAjustAltitude=NoWindAjustAltitudeBy=2000MinimumVisibility=0MaximumVisibilityFewClouds=0MaximumVisibility=0MaximumVisibilityOvercast=0MaximumVisibilityRainy=0OneCloudLayer=NoThinClouds=NoThinThunderClouds=NoCloudThinness=1000ThunderCloudThinness=10000CloudTurbulence=NoCloudIcing=NoWindTurbulence=NoSuppressAllGusts=NoExternalOptionControl=YesAutoTuneADF=NoMagicBattery=NoKeepFS98CloudCover=NoRudderSpikeRemoval=NoElevatorSpikeRemoval=NoReversedElevatorTrim=NoAileronSpikeRemoval=NoShowPMcontrols=NoTrapUserInterrupt=YesNavFreq50KHz=NoClockSync=NoSmoothIAS=YesSetVisUpperAlt=NoVisUpperAltLimit=6000SuppressCloudTurbulence=NoSuppressWindTurbulence=NoSpoilerIncrement=512TCASid=FlightTCASrange=40TrafficScanPerFrame=10AxisCalibration=NoCentredDialogue=NoClearWeatherDynamics=YesOwnWeatherChanges=NoFixWindows=NoFixControlAccel=NoWeatherReadInterval=4MainMenu=&ModulesSubMenu=&FSUIPC ...MoveBGLvariables=YesMaxIce=-4ShortAircraftNameOk=NoAutoTaxiWind=NoDisconnTrimForAP=NoWindSmoothingDelay=0WindSmoothAirborneOnly=NoVisSmoothingDelay=0VisSmoothAirborneOnly=NoZeroElevForAPAlt=No[JoystickCalibration]FlapsSetControl=0ReverserControl=66292MaxThrottleForReverser=0AileronTrimControl=0RudderTrimControl=0Aileron=-16383,0,0,16383Throttle=-16193,16065CowlFlaps1Control=0CowlFlaps2Control=0CowlFlaps3Control=0CowlFlaps4Control=0Elevator=-16383,0,0,16383Rudder=-16383,0,0,16383SlopeAileron=4SlopeElevator=5SlopeRudder=6Mixture=-16380,16380Flaps=0,0CowlFlaps1=0,16380LeftBrake=-13843,13970RightBrake=-13843,13970PropPitch=-16193,16380thanksReid St
