  1. Yes, I know what you mean. Can you add a checkbox to allow the focus to return to P3D after RAAS plays an audio file then? Otherwise your Enable Key Event API option doesn't really work..
  2. Hi Nico, can you add DJU for Air Djibouti? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Djibouti Thanks, Charlie K
  3. Hi Manuel, this happens in P3D full screen mode too, perhaps because it is actually an expanded window-mode. Can you do an update to return the focus to P3D after RAAS has played an audio file?
  4. Hi Bryan, An issue or two I'm having with RAAS. First, until today I've been using v2.9.37.6. I use the online check for updates option regularly and have always been told there are no updates available, including the last time I tried earlier today. When I visited the forum this evening to post about my second issue (below), I noticed that the latest version is actually 2.9.92.162 which I have now installed. So your check for updates option wasn't working. Version 2.9.37.6 doesn't even appear in the Change Log.. Second, the Enable Key Event API, which I have been trying to use for the last year or so has been working on and off, but not continuously and today I finally got round to looking into it. I think that FS loses focus when RAAS plays an audio file, and when you then send a key command afterwards (before clicking on the FS window), the function will not work. Can you confirm this is the case and possibly introduce a fix? I'm sending the key command through a physical switch. Thanks, Charlie K
  5. Thanks, I get it now. I thought it was the initial parking percentage used by PSXSeeconTraffic when an airport is opened in P3D, overriding the one in the airport file. I now realise it's the value that's set in each of the airport files when running PPG. Thanks, Charlie K
  6. Thanks for the info, I’ve read the manual but don’t understand how it works. So if my initial percentage for Heathrow is 80%, at what stage does the 35% in the EGLL file come in? Charlie
  7. Nico, I don’t have the software open so not sure of the file names and exact wording, but now that you define parking percentage in the parameters file in the appdata folder, is the parking percentage line in each individual airport file now not used? Thanks, Charlie
  8. Hi Nico, When I want to start at an airport with no parked traffic, do I now have to go to the airport's .xml file to change the % to 0 and then re-load PSXT again or is there a more simple method? If I try and set to 0 from 35 through PSXT then nothing changes, and the aircraft remain parked. Charlie
  9. That was upon my request I think, unless Michael requested it too. It was certainly a new idea to Balt when I suggested it..
  10. Thanks for that.. That's just workable but not ideal in a full size simulator when your PSX installation is over a metre behind the two seats. There are plenty of things in all aspects of flight simulation that could be done manually but are better done automatically to avoid breaking the realism. I'm sure most simmers would prefer to minimize the amount of times they have to leave the simulator, go into another program and change a setting before returning to the 'flight', although I guess there may be some that don't mind that. Doing it that way is not really simulating though, by definition. Nico said in the mycockpit thread that it would be 'very easy to implement' and later that he'd got rid of it 'to simplify the user interface'. My request here is only asking for something easy to implement that doesn't clutter the user interface. Charlie K
  11. http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?t=32003 Nico, could you possibly add this back in, even if its just a .ini line with nothing on the interface? I'm very much missing that functionality! Charlie K
  12. Sorry, forgot about this. Just checked the log file and it is finding files in the add-ons directory, but it's skipping them because it's already found them in the Prepar3d directory. Swapping the order has sorted things.
  13. Hi Nico, I have two network paths set in ParkPosGenerator: \\PC2\Prepar3D v4 and \\PC2\Users\Me\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-Ons the second of which was added after many Prepar3D v4 add-on sceneries started installing into this directory. When I run ParkPosGenerator it detects 1663 airports in the first folder but 0 in the second one. I definitely have add-on airports in the second one, where am I going wrong? Cheers, CK
  14. Nico can you add WIA, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winair, thanks.
  15. Hi, Do I need to reinstall AI Lights Reborn every time I add a new AI aircraft to my library, or does the software only change the effects folder? Cheers, CK
  16. Hi, this is great and I'll definitely buy the payware version when it arrives. I am seeing the strobes on each wing of the same aircraft flashing separately on occasions (not together). Can anything be done about that? Cheers, CK
  17. The website is showing the non P3Dv4 version to be V2.6.14.3. My installed P3Dv4 version says it is V2.9.37.6.
  18. Please can you mention the version number on the main page for the P3D v4 version as you do with the previous version? It is the easiest way for me to check if I have the latest version.
  19. Hi, I have a 3 camera 220 degree cockpit view, set up using Immersive Display Pro with the output Viewgroup file exported into Prepar3d v4. This file uses the frustum method to set the view parameters for the three cameras. No panel is displayed or necessary as I use hardware for the panels. I started the sim and set this default view as a chaseplane on-board preset, changed the view to an external one and set a preset for that too. I allocated keyboard shortcuts to the two views. When I restart the sim, the default view is fine. I press the shortcut to see the external view (also fine), but when I press the shortcut to return to the default view, the zoom has changed and I can now see the aircraft wingtips on the left and right cameras. Zooming in brings the view back to a similar state as the default but I don't want to have to do this every time. Any solutions to this? Cheers, CK
  20. Hi Roland, I'm having further problems with the taxi and runway waypoint regeneration. I'm running over a network. I click 'Start AIController', the software tells me there is a change to the scenery.cfg so I click OK to regenerate the taxi_graph.txt. This takes 5 to 10 minutes and I am warned about a few issues with network paths but as these are only with FS Global vector and FSGUX and not airport scenery I click OK and ignore them. This at least shows that there is a good connection to the correct network folder and scenery.cfg. When (apparently) finished, I then click 'Start AIController' again only to get exactly the same message and when I check, no taxi_graph.txt file has been created in the AI Controller folder. When I choose to just start AIController without regenerating the taxi_graph.txt file, it runs through the .ini file, tells me (correctly) that there is no taxi_graph.txt file, establishes a FSUIPC connection, then tells me that AIController has encountered an error: EXCEPTION - 9 SendID - 108 Index -1cbData - 24. Any ideas? I'm not sure if this is a network problem or not, but (I think) I have a good solution to the network path problem. Could you create a standalone file that sits on the FS PC and creates the required file(s) locally then exports them to a specified location (eg. a shared network folder)? On the main software you could have a normal checkbox and an advanced checkbox. If the normal checkbox is ticked then the program works exactly as it does now. If the advanced box is checked, then the program config paths menu changes slightly for the user to select a folder in which to look for the FS PC generated files. The user could either select a shared network folder or just specify the default AI Controller folder and copy the files across from the FS PC manually. Cheers, Charlie K
  21. I hadn't realised there were two threads on this. As I use Prepar3D and not FSX, I'll repost here.. Hi Roland, A quick question for Matias Sorcinelli unless you know the answer yourself. SidStar Converter contains a tool that either adds or removes the '//' prefix ahead of each line in the text box by clicking the Disable All and Enable All buttons respectively. Is it possible to add a feature that adds a 'O,' prefix ahead of each line when the Enable All button is pressed, instead of just removing the '//' and adding no prefix at all? At the moment, the Enable All button is fairly useless if you are using this software for AIController. Better still, do you need the 'O,' prefix in your software at all? Why not '//' for disabled and nothing for enabled? This would make the two pieces of software run flawlessly together. I'm having too many issues with running AIController over a network with regards to file locations. It's quite a lot of work to make sure all the entries in the scenery.cfg file comply with the correct syntax, particularly as scenery.cfg is regularly updated. I'm running into so many errors, I haven't even managed to get the main part of the software running yet! Is it not possible, in your Program Config Paths menu, to have an checkbox to select whether you are running over a network or not and if so, type the P3D computer's name, in my case '//SIM2'? From that point on, any path, however it is constructed, is deemed to be on the computer specified. If you select that you aren't running on a network, then any path, once again, however it is constructed, is deemed to be on the local machine. I'm not an expert on UNC and networks so this might not be possible! Thanks, Charlie K
