Thats gotta be aggravating.Would ya please stop with all the dang zeros?Seriously, since you are the first to name your thread "problems", I'll add another. FSUIPC 4.9 doesn't appear to be up to speed.Pete obviously didn't get the word that the patch was IMMENENT or he would have released his latest and greatest. That said, I have the Cirrus II and it is fraking useless now with the patch. Worked fine before. Probably a sim connect thing, I don't care.Pete, I KNOW it's 5 O'Clock in the morning for ya, get it ON!BC
  2. Hey Jason,It's like this:A normal person, purchasing a pair of jeans and finding that they fall apart within 3 hours of wearing, returns said jeans to the store for a refund. On the other hand, the dedicated simmer buys the same jeans and finding the same defect takes the jeans home. Our intrepid simmer then re-sews the jeans, makes them greater then great and then posts messages everywhere explaining how the jeans are now workable.Naturally, the manufacturer incorporates this new technology into its future products. What just happened? It's generally, well, it's NOT a good idea to reward mediocraty. If a product is not ready for distribution, it should not go out. When you advocate letting a product go through it's growing pains post purchase, THAT is hurting the hobby. When someone releases something, the product should have a reasonable chance of doing what it is supposed to do. That is what we pay for. That would be in actual dollars or euros or whatever. It's money.Noone should pay to be a beta testerHoo RahBC

All I know is that I won't be robbing any banks anytime soon with any of you cretins who managed to get FSX early and just can't resist telling EVERYONE on the planet where you got it.Kids today...BC
  4. Actually, there IS something weird here. The SIM hasn't even been actually RELEASED yet and ALREADY there are mods being offered for sale! How Pavlovian have we gotten that we have to improve a thing we haven't yet seen?Sure, some will need the next rendition of FSUIPC for add-ons like the PFC console, but maybe not. I don't know. I'll know when the sim is installed in my PC.If I need it, I guess I'll buy it then. I've been doing this for a while and this is the first time I see stuff for sale before the actual product is released.Freaking weird if you ask me....BC
  5. Um, Guys, what makes you think (believe) that the outboard engines don't have reversers and what would be the point? The engines hanging over the taxiway is a non-issue as that is not where one applies reverse. Most runways are 150 feet wide, with the ones the A380 will most likely be using would be 200 feet wide. I seriously doubt that the outboard engines are more than 100 feet from the C/L of the aircraft, the wingspan isn't much more than 260 feet. To be a problem, (if one was worried about engines ten feet off the ground injesting/blowing debris) the outboard engines would have to be on the wingtips.I seriously doubt anyone would want an airplane with two different engine/cowling configurations on the same airplane. That would not be economically prudent. So, if anyone has an idea where this idea came from, let me know. Learn something new every day. I've been told it's a good thing.BC
