777 AND 747 2.0
Dear PMDG team, with a significant number of airlines taking the B744s out of their fleets and many of these frames finding their second life as converted freighters, I'd appreciate a BCF model (extended upper deck with side cargo door) along with corresponding Door Synoptic Display. Thanks for considering in Version 2.Kind Regards,

Suggestion for panel organization
Hi!You beat me to it. Works perfectly and that's how I've organized my panels to link a specific aircraft to either the SP77 or SP177 - my Europe based aircraft on SP177, some North America and mainly South America based to the the SP77 with or without Liton INS.Version 1.3 is fantastic! Truly is my favourite bird in FS. No other plane is so true to flying with pitch and power settings...Bob, is there a chance for a cross bar type flight director in the future? Thanks for bringing us this fantastic airplane!Cheers,Kris

Tinmouse1.25 - Autopilot
Bob,thanks again for your support.Version 1.25 is great! The 'mouse has always been one of my favorites. But the addiction factor has significantly increased :( Not many aircraft behave so true when it comes to flying "to the book" (manuals freely available on the web these days...) and with "true" pitch and power behavior. If you'd ask me for development priorities, skip the Sperry 177 development and focus on failures implementation :( Kind regards,

Tinmouse1.25 - Autopilot
Bob,progress has been made.I reinstalled the mouse from scratch. Aileron channel issue is solved. Works now - must have been Gremlins of some sort.On the Elevators, I checked using the logging thing - nice feature, something new learned! The value remained off from Zero. By quickly going to the Axis alignment menu I saw that the value corresponds with the IN value (OUT was showing 0 since I was in the Null zone). So, thought to try adding the Filter checkmark and voil

Tinmouse1.25 - Autopilot
Bob,thanks for the quick reply.I have the PFC yoke - still as a game controller version which I bought almost 10 years ago - hooked to a USB converter. I calibrate normal via the windows utility and all inputs to FS are via FSUIPC. I have a decent null zone defined for both Aileron and Elevator and all my aircraft are nicely stable when properly trimmed out - I like to handfly a lot.I'll try the logging thing and report. On the aileron channel I'm as puzzled as you, since I went back to my good ole v1.23 tinmouse and there everything works as expected - both aileron and elevator channels.Cheers,Kris Gamaggio

Tinmouse1.25 - Autopilot
Having installed the new version, I'm having some issues with the AP.When Aileron channel is disengaged, the wings are held level - pretty much the behavior when you engage the channel without HDG select enabled. The Elevator channel is a real issue. Trimming the mouse at at 2000ft/min climb and engaging the elevator channel to maintain that attitude, she'll bring the nose down and go into dive.I'm familiar with the operation of the AP from previous hundreds of hours on the bird.Bob, any thoughts/recommendations?Thanks,Kris

Constraining a Step Climb (S/C) to a waypoint
No, I don't fly the MD11 in RW.My statement is based on the paragraph you quote and experience on the PMDG MD11. Look at the FMC in Olmo's pic. There is the S/C line and the T/C line. The sentence is tricky, but is telling is that you move the S/C to the waypoint of choice. You are constraining the S/C line to a waypoint.PMDG has done a fantastic job with the MD11s FMC so I assume this behavior should be similar on the real bird, but someone else with RW MD11 experience needs to confirm...Cheers,Kris

Constraining a Step Climb (S/C) to a waypoint
Olmo, you keep thinking the Boeing way...The logic in the MD11 is different. By entering S360 on KUKUN vertical revision you tell the FMC to maintain your current level of 360 to KUKUN and S/C to the next level after KUKUN.Try it. She'll do what you are requesting.Cheers,Kris

Constraining a Step Climb (S/C) to a waypoint
Salve, you're trying to constrain so that you S/C after KUKUN, right? What you need to do is enter the constraint as S360 at KUKUN.You were thinking Boeing way. With the MD11 the logic is different.Cheers,Kris

MD11 (FS9) ENG FIRE AGENT Refil

MD11F not innitializing
Thanks gentlemen!Sorry, didn't see the previous post on the topic.Cheers,Kris

MD11F not innitializing
PMDG team, thanks for the MD11, my favorite aircraft.Just to let you know on a recent discovery. I configured the aircraft with no Cargo and no fuel. Upon loadin it it would not show the innitialization countdown and all screens remained blank, no chance to power up etc.Loading one cargo station solved the issue. You folks may want to look into this one..And now on to planning my first long flight!Cheers,Kris GamaggioFleetcaptain Stevens VA

DME question
Bob,thanks for the info and your continued effort.Kind Regards,Kris

DME question
Since updating to new beta I'm having issues with DME Navaids. While with normal VOR/DMEs distances are properly indicated, with pure DME stations (i.e. at EDDK station KBO 112.15 or at EDFH station HND 116.95) the distance indication remains at 000.0I must be doing something wrong here, I guess. Can anyone help?I have also noticed that stations are only received when airborne, despite being close to them (was not the case with v1.23a).Thanks,Kris GamaggioSTV VA

747-400 FMC: Forecast-Page, "TAI / ON ALT"?
>Can someboday tell me what does it mean "TAI/ ON ALT" in the>FORECAST-Page of the FMC? I didn't find it on the manual.Marcel,in this line you'd enter the altitude at which you are expecting/planning the use of nacelle antiice. The use of nacelle anti ice increases the idle thrust limit which needs to be considered in your descent profile during VNAV descents.Hope this helps.Kris
