I flew the PC-21 in some of the individual events through the mountains where great climb and descent rate, short field performance and maneuverability were important. It's great for those situations, but when all out speed is required, as is typically needed in the RTW, it's not so great. Best, Tom

Only 5,600 ft/min. I could beat that! :( It's curious how the airspeed dropped so low when they bottomed out at 11K. Wonder if they got it that slow on purpose?Vicious

They have something similar out here in San Diego at the MIdway Museum. From what I recall they had quite a few stations setup with several full cockpits, I think mostly jets. I haven't done it but it looked fun. Vicious
