  1. Hello allI'm using the 800/900. Am I right in believing that all the simualated controls on the throttle quadrant are 'mouse clickable'?If so does anyone have any idea why the mouse I'm using doesn't operate the flaps lever? Engines are running and the other controls respond to the mouse, with the exception of the speedbrake lever but this particular control isn't always affected!!!?Thanks in advanceAlan W
  2. HiThanks for that.I have tried this already and appears not to make much difference. I've narrowed down the issue to the ailerons and speedbrake, however for some unkown reason the throttles (when loading the aircraft) advance as soon as N1 reaches idle without human intervention!! Don't quite get that one. This is happening in not only PMDG but the default aircraft too.So frustrating!!Kind regardsAlan
  3. Hello and thanksBoth tried and still no difference!!BRAlan
  4. Hello allDoes anyone know the reason why the throttles would be in the advanced position when nothing has been touched? I use PMDG and have been experiencing assignment issues and uninstalled and reinstalled PMDG but now this is happening in the Default aircraft too. So I guess it's and FS issue.FS has started to crash too.Any advice would be gratefully receivedThanks in advanceAlan W
  5. Hi and thanks for the advice. Much appreciatedRegardsAlan
  6. Hello allDoes anyone know what causes the 'line' over the sea as seen in the screenshot?ThanksALW
  7. HelloThank you very much for your advice which I have taken and have posted to show the screenshot of the 'dividing line' on the sea. I would like to know what causes it and what the cure is?Thanks againALW
  8. Hello allCould someone please tell me how to upload a screenshot?Thank youAlan W
  9. ThanksI do have the most recent version of FSUIPC. I think I may have found the cause. I'm certain it stems back to my oldish CH yoke. My views are assigned there and there have been other issues which I've had for a very long time and is was purely by chance I stumbled across the most recent issue and it all started to make sense. The yoke is very confused I think and doing what it liked when it liked. I'm in the narket for a 'proper' yoke now so hopefully that should resolve the situation. Thanks againAlan
  10. HiNo assignments anywhere else. I disabled the joystick and that resolved the issue and everything is through FSUIPC.Thank you
  11. Hello allWhen in spot view and selecting the overhead panel from views/instrument panel/overhead panel there are rapid 'clicking' sounds (similar to a rotary switch being operated)and if I'm not quick enough to exit the overhead panel view, FS crashes. Interestingly at this point all the other panels appear blacked out and then disappear. It does appear only to happen in spot mode. Strange happenings!!!? Using FS9 with PMDG 737 800Thank youAW
  12. Hello allCan someone please enlighten me with regard to the landing gear operating when I select a switch on my CH yoke? There is no assignment anywhere in FS own assignments-I have deleted these because my assignments are routed elsewhere. Yet no matter what I do this switch continues almost as default to be assigned to the landing gear!!!I have a registered copy of FSUIPC and there is no assignment there either!Any advice gratefully received. Thank youAW
  13. I would definately uninstall the 600/700 and use just the 800/900Alan Watson
  14. Hello PauloInteresting. It might be an idea to uninstall the 800/900 and reinstall. Have you still got the 600/700 installed? I have only the 800/900 installed. What about uninstalling the 600/700 for good and see what happens. As you know it doesn't take long it might be worth a try. Let me know.BRAlan Watson
  15. Hello PauloLooking at this it seems to me you have not got the BAT switched on on the overhead panel. Have you tried that and/or the STANDBY POWER SWITCH? also on the overheadLet me knowRegardsAlan Watson
  16. HiI think I understand what you are saying. Have you tried expanding the panel by dragging it with the curser. Hope that helps
  17. Hello allWhile not a newcomer to FS I have been lazy in not researching topics such as this and have blundered my way through learning to fly the 737 (PMDG of course)! After recently installing ASE I couldn't import any flight plans because I didn't know how to.Any how thats been rectified but FS own flight plans are not up to date so my question is how do I import a flight plan into ASE with up to date information? Please excuse my ignorance and I hope this post makes sense? Any suggestion welcome Flying with FS9.Thank you all
  18. Thanks everyone.Problem solved!! It was all due to the 'centre set' button setting. Thats a lesson learnt.
  19. Good post.I've often wondered this too.I'm a plumber/ gas installer. I don't consider my title 'gas engineer' though. I don't engineer anything. I install, service and repair boilers. Sorry had to get that one in because there is a little controversy about this title!!!!!!
  20. Hello allI have an issue with the ailerons being 'stuck' when starting a flight and it takes several attempts moving the yoke to get them to react.I have another issue with the right reverser not working when reverse thrust is applied. For both these issues I have checked in FSUIPC and they are responding. In the aircraft software throttle window the reverser the isn't moving either. Problem for me ( with the reverser) is that it is random.Sometimes it will work and others not.I fly the 738 with FS9.Any ideas are very welcome.A collective thank you.Alan Watson
  21. Hi DanThe O/H panel stays open with this rapid clicking noise until either FS crashes or I intervene and cahnge airports or the like. I can't get my head round this one!!??I agree it should be in the 737 section and I realised this as soon I pressed enter!!!!!
  22. Hello allI hope someone can help with a really niggling issue? When I start FS and select my saved flight, the opening screen is the overhead panel accompanied by a rapid clicking sound. This sound is the same as a rotary switch but much speeded up.I have to move the aircraft to a different gate or airport and save the flight and it's ok for a while. Then it happens again!!Part of my start checklist is to view the throttle panel from views/instrument views/throttles to make sure the fuel levers are off. When the above issue occurs the levers are off but when the flight starts normally (without the rapid clicking) the fuel levers are in the idle position. I don't know whether that is relevant to this issue?I hope that all makes sense?!!!!!!!!!!Thank you in advance for your advice and suggestions. Flying PMDG 800-900 FS9.Alan Watson
