  6. HelloI've recently experienced a couple of times when descending,a message is received on the FMC "STEEP DESCENT AFTER *****". Upon reaching this point the aircraft plummets from the sky!!!!Is this pilot error? Bad descent planning etc? Thanks Alan W
  7. Hello all.I have recently experienced FS9 crashing at the same place on five occasions. Both on a LAM3A STAR just West of the LAM VOR. I've never really used LHR that much but since installing AES version I decided to fly there.I don't have this problem when RWYs 27R & L are in use. FS clearly dosn't like me landing on 09L/R from the north.Has anyone got any ideas?I haven't attempted any other arrivals other than those mentioned, only LAM3A to 27R & LThank youALW

  10. Hello JimI think I've sorted it out now, thanks.I do however have one more question. When I enter a route the times stated do not correspond to the actual time. For example a flight yesterday the time showed 1910z but the actual time was around 14.00 GMT. I hope this makes sense?!!Thanks Jim,look forward to hearing from you.Alan
  11. Hello allI have entered a valid flight plan in ASA but when I tune the radios to 122.000 or 122.025 nothing happens. It used to work ok but has decided not to now.Can someone tell me what I'm missing here please?Thank you
  12. Hello allI'm not quite sure how this works but I have selected ASA to force to real time (GMT) but it never does!! And is ASA supposed to automatically set the time and season in FS9?Also whenever I go on line with VATSIM, ASA gives me the current info but when contacting ATC with this they always tell me the current info is different.Hope that all makes sense. Thanks
  13. Hi JimThanks. That has answered all I need to know. I understand completely now. Thanks againRegardsAlan
  14. Hello allI have bought ASA and the answer is probably staring me in the face, however I would like a bit of guidance!!! In ASv6 there were options to browse and select sky colours time of day etc.Where are these options in ASA? Thank you all.

  17. Hello allI have assigned 'O' in the drop down menu FS/PMDG/KEYBOARD COMMANDS so obviously when I type 'O' the overhead panel displays. However this is not saved after shutting down. I thought 'O' was the default key for this assignment. I find myself selecting 'T' which quite happily displays the approach panel and then by selecting 'O' opens the overhead. In fact I think all my panel commands are wrong!!!Any ideas welcome. Thank youA.W
  18. ThanksThat confirms there is a graphics related issue (I think)! I will wait and see if there are any other replies and if not successful I will see what my options are. Thanks again
  19. Hello AllI'm using a 32" monitor as my primary display and two identical 19" monitors for the PFD/ND displays. I would like to use full screen mode (alt + enter) but when I do this the two 19" monitors display blurry images.I have been told this is an FS issue but I don't personally know.If anybody has any suggestions they would be gratefully recieved.Thank you.
  20. Hello and thanks for your reply. I have just installed a brand new PC and obviously everything has been re-installed from scratch.Really frustrating this issue of mine!! Regards.
  21. Can someone please help? I have for some time now had this issue of FS9 not shutting down when I use the Engravity CDU with PMDG 737 800/900.If I don't use the CDU this does not happen,so I don't know if it FS9,PMDG or the CDU!!This means I have to end the process in the task manager or turn off the PC should I decide to restart FS9.This has been an ongoing problem for a considerable time so any advice would be very much appreciated.Thank you.
  22. The subjects of this post are excellent products without a doubt, but I have a burning desire to resolve an issue I have been experiencing for some considerable time now,so any advice would be gratefully received. When I use FS9 after switching on the PC everything works well. When I exit FS and restart it the CDU will not power up.I have two options to get it to work. I can end the process in the task manager after exiting FS and then restart FS or, restart the PC. This isn't a major problem just a bit of a nuisance that I would like to resolve. If I disconnect the CDU, FS shuts down automatically everytime. Although this started on my original PC, I have since installed a brand new PC,and it is still happening. Can you help? Thank you. Alan.
