  1. When can we expect some new screenshots?
  2. No one? Unfortunately, it isn't available at flightsim.com either. Does anybody know where I can contact Mike Maarse?
  3. Hi,I tried to download Mike Maarse's GE90 sound from the library but the file has not been restored yet. Would anybody be willing to send it to me? The filename is b777_ge.zip.E-Mail via PM.Thanks in advance :(
  4. Well PMDG is doing a Dash 8 for FSX only.
  5. Interesting idea Bob - what a shame FS is that limited in this aspect. Thanks anyway.
  6. Hello,I wondered if this was possible. Let's take a simple FMC, doesn't matter what addon. The keys don't make any sound, although they do in real life, whereof I have a sound from a real aircraft. Can I add this somehow? I own FSPanel Studio. Sim is FS2004.Thanks in advance.
  7. +Functional circuit breaker panel+Windshield starts to visibly ice up if heat isn't activated Either item is modeled on the Maddog 2008 which is why it kind of sets the standard for me in terms of failure simulation aspects.+Wingviews...
  8. Agree to all above. [3] Non-eyebrows come with an updated cockpit design...[+] Landing lights switch separated for Inboard/Outboard lts, but I presume that's the standard anyway.
  9. That is true, as evidenced in the cases where pilots ignored ATC instructions (B757 on take-off while CRJ is crossing runway, ATL), take-off from wrong runway resulting in a fatal accident (Lexington), etc. However... I am not really referring to the difficulty of the taxi itself, but more about the characteristics of the 744, which I find is much harder to move on the ground than the PMDG MD-11 for instance.
  10. Hi,just completed another flight on the 747, and once again I found taxiing the A/C to be the most difficult phase of the flight. Even with mediocre payload/fuel, a lot of N1 is needed in order not to come to a complete stop on the taxiway. In particular, making a turn slows the jumbojet down a lot. I've watched many B744 videos to date and in each of which taxiing seemed to be much easier, and also requiring far less engine power. No 3 is normally shut down after lading. Anybody have similar experiences?
  11. How about showing us some pictures from the 737 development for comparison? ;-)
  12. Hi, does somebody have the following AFCAD file by Jim Vile on the HD and would be willing to send it to me? katl_af2_jv.zip (for ImagineSim's KATL scenery)Thanks in advance.
  13. Haha. It was more a random guess that came to my mind :( I hadn't even read the latest update at that time.Anyway...what we know up to this point: The B748i model in the video sure looks like quality work. No one would create such a fine piece of art just to fool a couple of simmers, correct? PMDG has not denied it's theirs so far (noteworthy, isn't it?) They have been deleting several posts concerning this airplane so far as though they don't want to create a fuzz around it (suspicious?) I believe we will get to hear more about this particular model. Could very well be that someone is working on the Super Jumbo and tried to use PMDG's paint in order to grab some attention - and quite obviously, it works :(
  14. LOL! You guys know what a dash is? This thing here: -PMDG wanted to create a Dash 8. We all thought of the Canadian Mixer (Dash-8-400 etc.). Couldn't it simply be the Boeing 747 dash 8i?
  15. I hope surreptitious advertising is not frowned upon here :( http://airsimmer.comI think their project was the reason why the PMDG A320 was put on ice, IIRC! Probably they still have it in their plans but I doubt it since AirSimmer is already in a pretty advanced stage, shouldn't be too long until it's out.
  16. What a pity you couldn't give us FS9 users a clear yes or no for our sim. I've always anticipated the 737 to be released for either platform... I'm a bit dissapointed to hear this might actually not become the case :(
  17. Thanks for your offer Andrea. I have sent you a PM. :(
  18. Thanks, totally forgot about checking flightsim. I found one, however I think I'll keep flying the Queen in NWA colors as long as they're not painted in the Delta livery.
  19. Hi,since the file library is still in the process of being put back online, I'd like to know if there is a way to obtain the HNAC A300 + panel/patches. I'd like to fly it in American Airlines colors before the actual airline will retire the Airbus on August 24th, 2009. I checked both flightsim.com and the HNAC homepage, but I can only find pieces at best.If there is no website where I can download the complete set, would somebody please be so kind and send it to me? :(I'll give you my e-mail addy via PM. Thanks in advance, I'm looking forward to using the A300 in AA color scheme a lot before its final flight from MIA to JFK.
  20. Hello everyone,I'm wondering if there is chance to get a Delta paint for the 747. I've been looking for one but since Avsim is down and there is no such livery on the PMDG homepage, I thought I might ask here. Thanks in advance.
  21. A little self-confident on your part... Looks like a normal VC to me.
  22. Thanks for all your help, I just got FSX.I'd like to know...1) if there are recommendable nHancer settingsand2) useful tweaks
  23. Hi there,I'm thinking about getting FSX, since prices have dropped for the standard edition and there are some work in progress aircraft and sceneries that I don't want to miss.I mainly plan to fly to small/mid size airports, which should perform better than mega hubs do. I already struggle sometimes with those even in FS9.My hardware: E6850 3,0GHz not overclocked, 8800GTS 320mb, 2GB DDR-800 RAM on Windows XP 32.The demo runs pretty smooth, even with better graphics, but hasn't gotten any of the patches released so far if I'm right. So, would my PC be good enough to handle FSX at, say, low to decent graphic settings? I'd like to average around 20-25 frames for the most time. Thanks in advance.
