  1. Hi there, I have been running panel Builder ver 2.x for many years on an AIO touch as n 2nd PC for Panel builder only (not my SIM PC), it worked on XP9/10/11/12 without any issues. After many years of service, my AIO touch PC packed up (MOBO dead) and a repair is not possible. I then bought an replacement AIO touch (old used i5=1st gen) installed WIN and panel builder. Panel builder runs, it sends commands to X-Plane (adjusting e.g. heading / ONH) changes in X-Plane but commands / changes from X-plane to the instruments = not working (instrument not changing to changes in X-Plane) The sim PC / network / router = all untouched / unchanged All settings for Panel builder = same as per old / faulty pc previous UDP settings used in panel builder .. Multicast 224.11.5.62 listen port 49001 FS port 45000 (even tried many combinations, including the default 48000/45000) UDP settings in X-Plane use UPnP = off port we receive on 49010 port we receive on (legacy) 49000 port we send from (legacy) 49001 (also tried many combinations, with the defaults) I have included the Panel Builder instruments exclusions in Windows firewall,on the AIO / Panel builder PC during install, I have also given full permissions to the X-Plane / SIM pc's firewall (although its irrelevant, as the SIM PC is unchanged) As a test, I then installed Panel Builder in the SIM PC ... everything works 100% Pls advise if anyone can point me in a direction to fault find the issue as logic dictates, it MUST be something on the replacement PC running Panel Builder, and my networking skills are not that great p.s. the only differences between the Old & New AIO's are OLD NEW WIN10Pro WIn10Home UEFI Legacy BIOS
  2. Hi All getting frustrated and dont seem to find a solution. I run 4 screens from 2 display cards and have arranged them 3 at the bottom in n row for a wide view in x-plane the top (4th) screen is my main Windows screen and used for other non x-plane goodies when I click on plugins and select ANYTHING, it pops up on screen no2 ( in the middle - bottom ) and also my "main" x-plane screen where I find the menus and from where it starts up initially BUT the windows is not "active" i.e. can not click any button on it, neither close it again (default x-plane map as an e.g. is ok, as it pops up on screen no 1 - bottom left if I disable the 1st & 3rd screen and run X-plane on a singe monitor, no problem I was hoping one can somewhere in a x-plane config file set n default display for pop ups ... any bright ideas ? Jan
  3. Hi all, I see not more movement on this chat. I have the latest xplane on steam, face the same dilemma when running 3 screens e.g. opening anything from the plugin menu is not active/clickable they pop up on my no 2 screen and its also the main front facing display of my xplane i have 4 screens, 3 in a row at the bottom, numbered according to Windows 2/3/4 and the main / no1 screen for windows ( not used in xplane) sits on top of screen no 2 the reason I made the top one the main screen is because every windows pop up or notice displays there. out of xplane view any new news on this issue?
  4. I followed this advice, works like a charm https://www.reddit.com/r/flightsim/comments/6p0sfe/how_can_i_save_ortho4xp_tiles_in_an_external_drive/
  5. Eish ! something went pear shaped .. was working 100% one day, no go, the enable/activate accufeel is black, one can enable everything, but when going back, all off again not sure if anything added afterwards caused it ? this I see now below the accufeel entry any ideas ? <Launch.Addon> <Name>A2A Feel</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>Modules\A2A_Feel.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>AccuFeelMenu</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>Modules\AccuFeelMenu.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>PMDG Interface</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>PMDG\DLLs\PMDG_Interface.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>RAASPRO</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>.\RAASPRO\RAASPRO.dll</Path> <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon> <Launch.Addon> <Name>as_connect</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Path>as_srv\as_btstrp.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document>
  6. and the other 3rd party and/or customs airports where do they fit in ? mine is on top, above orbx libs is that correct?
  7. exactly ! the version of PMDG 747 that was installed that gave me the trouble, was and old FSX version the P3D version doesn't have a 2D panel
  8. Thanks for all the input guys ! Its now sorted I downloaded a fresh copy, used IE and not chrome, as I remembered I had an issue with iFly AC using chrome to download Removed the AC with Revo, installed fresh copy, all OK now ... but now I don't have a 2D cockpit anymore ... ??? so after some investigation, I realised I previously installed the older version under P3D ... red face all around
  9. somehow its seems to be linked to the MAG variation in this pic AC pointing 190, the waypoint selected is at 190deg but the HDG bug shows 173deg, very close to the MAG VAR at that point. I tested at different airports, always closely link up with the variation http://www.mediafire.com/view/6a6nl5mhjlbbcda/Capture.JPG
  10. been there, done that but if it was due to that, surely it would effect "everything" not just one AC from PMDG ?
  11. yes, have seen those posts not the same issue, im not x miles off track I'mm 20-30 deg in the wrong direction LOL Question: does the F1 reg repair tool work for P3D V3 ?
  12. yes, I use navigraph updates but its been since cycle 1612 ( when i build up the new rig) every update since then - all have same issue im now standing at an airport, on the RWY, RWY HDG is 10deg MAG I picked a point <300nm away at exactly 10deg mag entered it into the fms, the magenta line points to 351deg !! and the track is confirmed by PFPX and (yes) FSTramp ( its back in for now )
  13. thanks Walter, I try again, because I have been looking all over before I posted here, was told to ask here as this is the "official" PMDG forum
  14. just did, FSTramp removed, no change its a brand new installation, bought a new PC so I started from scratch win10-64, p3d v3, complete ftx/orbx & Active sky 16 (accufeel & FSTramp - now removed ) previously I used FSX-Steam with previous gen 747, worked like a dream
  15. Hi Down, Thanks for the input, but im sceptical ... I doubt if its my ability, as I've been flying pmdg 747 from fs9 days, only the 747 & 777 does it in P3D v3, none of the other PMDG A/C has the issue I omitted a lot for the purpose of this exercise , v speeds etc even so, flying "manual" gives exactly the same results in terms of AC position and heading ( from takeoff, the AC shows left of actual position) but as shown, AP is on, LNAV & VNAV is on fact remains, the AC is shown in a position and direction on the PFD, that is incorrect ( the FMS info in the screen shots, shows gsp positions, and that can be verified with the SHIF-Z info on top of the screen ) the moving map (FSTramp) is on the screen shots as well to show AC real position & orientation
  16. removed accufeel did one takeoff to just short of 1st point - no change I crammed everything into one screen & took progressive pics so the FMS + PFD + moving MAP etc are all visible hopefully this can shed some light on the issue for any of you bofs pics on mediafire https://www.mediafire.com/folder/456hd83id6sg5/temp thanks in advance !
  17. Not familiar with ezdok, a quick google suggests its similar to accufeel if so, then YES, im using accufeel Bud ... i will take some screen shots and revert
  18. yes, I just got airborne, I started on the runway, once airborne, the AC drifts off to the left. (at about 5 miles, the drift is almost 1 mile) BUT ! my real position in relation to the RWY etc, was correct (i was occupied with other issues in order to locate the fault, so no AT active an AC was speeding) but as you can judge from the scale, +/- 3 miles from the start of the runway , I was already over a mile to the left after flying a while, the AC points about 30deg off course, of the magenta line what additional info/screenshot can I gather to shed more light on the subject ? p.s. strange, only 747 & 777, D8 & 737 = OK

  20. if i canonly get it linked, dropbox & mediafire link not accepted
  21. Hi all, Been all over the place (literary) trying to solve this issue my 777 and 744 is always left of track, doesn't follow the FMS track at all and headings are out by 25deg on 100nm on my FSTramp I can see myself miles away from where I should be and where I should be going the moment I get airborne, my AC starts drifting let of track ( see pic ) my 737-600/700/800/900 is 100% im using win10-64 with P3D V3 AIRAC's and MAG DEC all updated, IRS fully aligned Where do I start looking
  22. Have the same problem, but its limited to the 747 and the 777, the 737 is perfect. done a few reinstalls, latest airac etc
  23. Thanks Elaine, got around to it now - works 100% p.s. realised I had to do n similar thing to get IVAP to work, will remember for future addons Jan
