C185 Bush for FS9
Me bad.....I noticed the wheels buried in the ground too. I changed the numbers but forgot to post them. Here's the new.point.0 = 1, 3.5, -4, -6.03, 2500, 0, 0.45, 40.0, 0.25, 1, 0.7, 5, 5, 2point.1 = 1, 3.5, 4, -6.03, 2500, 0, 0.45, 40.0, 0.25, 1, 0.7, 5, 5, 3point.2 = 1, -6.8, -4, -5.80, 2500, 1, 0.75, 0.0, 0.23, 2, 0.7, 2, 2, 2point.3 = 1, -6.8, 4, -5.80, 2500, 2, 0.75, 0.0, 0.23, 2, 0.7, 2, 2, 3This works for me. The bigger the number the higher the wheels set. So you may have to tweak the numbers to suit your aircraft.Al

C185 Bush for FS9
Frank.....Thanks for the new float numbers. I know that you don't want to hear this but I have no bouncing problem on either the float or the amphibian using the default contact points. Go figure. I did though have the bouncing problem with the ski and tunda version but that was easily fixed as you know. If you haven't heard from Carenado yet on the amphibian fix you might try to apply the new float numbers to the amphibian. Of course save your old numbers and give it a try....nothing lost. Wish I could be of more help. Thanks anyway for the float numbers. Let me know how it all works out.Regards, Al

C185 Bush for FS9
I have not downloaded the Bush 185 yet but will sometime today. I looked on the Carenado web site for the new float aircraft config file but no luck. Could you please post the new config file here as I'm anticipating I'll have the same bounce problem. It would be much appreciated.Al

Static Object Float Planes
Thanks for the reply Opa. I've downloaded Patrick Finchs tutorial and will have a look see. If this seems to be the only way to go then I probably will take you up on your kind offer to do it slightly different. I have noticed that other scenery developers use static aircraft with texture files that end in .0af, .1af, .2af etc. Looks like files from the early versions of flight simulator. Do you have any idea how that works? Anyway, thanks again.Regards, Al

Static Object Float Planes
I'm using EZ Scenery in FS9. I've been unable to locate any static object libraries that contain float planes. I've searched the libraries and the forums both here and at Flightsim with no luck. Any help would be greatly appriciated.Al

FS9 Cessna 185 bounces
Well I changed the Static Compression and the Vertical Position on the main landing gear in the contact points and that stopped the bounce. Now mind you I don't know if that is the correct or profession way to cure the bounce but it worked for me. I'm satisfied.Regards, Al

FS9 Cessna 185 bounces
Downloaded the FS9 185 and I have the dreaded bounces. They start when the aircraft reaches about 20 mph and continue to get worse with speed. Very bad on landing. Has anyone else experienced this? Very nice aircraft otherwise.Regards, Al

FS2004 Scrambles Desktop
I hate to throw a monkey wrench in your theory, but I run my desktop, "normal" tasks, at 1024 by 768 using XP2. I run fs9 at 1280 by 1024. My desktop has always remained the same.Regards, Al

VC not showing in POSKY's ERJ-135 -- here's why
I don't have a cockpit either. I downloaded all the updates and still nothing. It's the view point numbers that is the problem, least I think it is. I played around with them and got it to show, but not correctly. I'm working with the 135. Did anybody get the 135 to work?Regards, Al

VC not showing in POSKY's ERJ-135 -- here's why
I played around with some numbers but couldn't get it right and also found the floor was always to high. I'm with you and will just wait for Posky to come through with the corrections. I'll try the 145. It does look like a nice VC. Thanks again.Regards, AlMaxis...Thanks for the info

Conquest II or Cheyenne
Neal...If your looking for a twin turboprop you might consider the AFG King Air 300. It's freeware. Nice VC, sound, virtual cabin, and quite a few repaints here in the library. Now I'm not sure if your system will run it smooth but it's freeware so nothing to lose.Regards, Al
