    Amen to that. Back in the FSX days I was one of the first people to buy and install one of the addons and Scott personally called me to make sure things installed right and were working. I think I've bought every single product of theirs (at least for my platforms) since that point. These guys are the 'bar'. Period. They could literally release "word not allowed" and I would buy it.

    I thought they were going to run those through Blackshark as soon as they become available but there are lots of areas within the sim that have not been updated at all while the imagery on Bing itself has been updated months ago.

    We haven't heard "blackshark" since the launch of the sim- I have to wonder if maybe they ditched them and are going to roll their own ML thing for MSFS '24. It's not like MS/Azure doesn't have the technology/talent to do it.

    It's a tad long in the tooth now with the awesome G1000 we have available in MSFS but I'd firmly put the Hot Start TBM in the "best planes of all time" category as well. Honestly beyond that I'm not real sure what could compare. The CL650 is also sorta GA but probably too different to compare.

    You're going to be hoping for a long time. Nobody does demos in this industry.

    What else do you need to know to inform a purchase? This is the best GA addon for MSFS by a long shot, and probably one of the best available in any sim.

    T-6 is my favorite IRL aircraft- I would pay a lot of money to get the accusim version in MSFS. Maybe even an organ or two. 🤪

    The Fenix A320 is also really loud for me, particularly with the exterior sounds. These two are by far my ‘loudest’ addons. I wish MSFS would remember sound settings per-plane. Would make everyone happy.

    I think it’s especially an issue with this plane because all the other sounds are so good. It’s hard to hear all the little buzzes and bells with the constant BRRRRRRRRRRRR.

    The takeoff roll is what gets me every time. Puts me right in a real aircraft cabin being yeeted down a runway. 😍

    i guess it was a last minute addition as the manual initially said it was inactive 

    Interesting, I assumed it didn't work as there were dark clouds with precip on my approach and it didn't show anything. Maybe it was a weather depiction issue rather than missing radar?

    I ended up purchasing it. If you like the 146, you’ll like this even more. The sounds are top notch but perhaps a tad loud from the cockpit as others have mentioned. The flight model feels reasonable- she’s perhaps a bit faster overall than I was expecting, and definitely way slipperier. So far every descent has been with the 🍑-brakes deployed.

    As with something like an Apple product, it does feel overpriced to me compared to other offerings, and I would have loved to see it on the market at $40 or $50 USD. It doesn’t change my enjoyment of the product at all, just hits the wallet a bit harder. It would have been cool to see her in the hands of more simmers. Just an anecdote but there are a number of people in my VA who mentioned it’s too expensive so they aren’t buying it.

    Basic WX radar like other addons have would be appreciated. Even if it isn’t terribly accurate, it would still provide significant value to the pilot. There’s a few UI oddities in the EFB that need to be cleaned up, but nothing game breaking.

    Not sure if it says more about JustFlight or more about the status of regional jets in MSFS, but the F28 is the best regional jet available by a large margin. If you enjoy “slant alpha” flying, you can’t really do better.

    There is no way the old site gets a 9/10 lol. I'd give it a 4 or 5 tops.

    Funny, I was told by our favorite XP dev here that it was a big market with lots of potential, though maybe he was mostly referring to XP11? One of these things is not like the other… 🙃

    I think I’ll use my slight feeling of FOMO here as motivation to get back into the 146 this evening.

    Yeah, and because of it being a higher price, it will be an even lower volume than it would have been anyways, so it is a double-edged sword of sorts.

    Do you think many people care about a ford trimotor or Boeing 307, or almost any of the Microsobo offerings on the store? Nah, they're enticing looking models that fly and sound decently well enough, at a cheap price, and are convenient because they're offered on the in-game store. Yes, the Fokker took more development resources than most of these, so not exactly apples to apples, but maybe the ATR is a better comparison. I own a few of these planes and are happy with them at the price. I'd really be curious to see how this plane (or any other "study-level" addon) would do offered on the marketplace at 20 USD. The biggest hurdle I see to that approach is that a random plane sold on the marketplace doesn't have the marketing behind it like the ones that end up in Asobo's videos on youtube and twitch, and aren't promoted when you open the store.

    We also don't have many public data points to go by on whether higher quantity makes up for low price or not. It's a super consumer-friendly theory, but not sure how the developer ends up. SWS stated their ($5?) market test on the Zenith was very successful. Unfortunately PMDG hasn't said anything about whether their $35 736 was successful or not. I am positive developers have a data-driven answer to my question- perhaps this price is Just Flight's answer to that question. As a data analyst myself, I remain skeptical until I see numbers. 🙃

    Sell me one variant of the F28 at $35 and it would be an insta-buy. The PMDG 736 is perhaps the best value of any (payware) aircraft ever released for any sim. I would even buy the whole package at $50. $70 for a plane with archaic technology just doesn't do it for me. It's a shame they haven't followed up on their FMS promise for the 146 yet- that is a (very) good plane but remains a questionable value. I'm not doubting the F28 will be equally good, it just doesn't have the value proposition for me, so I won't be buying it at full price.
