This build seems totally hosed unfortunately. Same issues as sd_flyer and Johan.

The only time my sim has crashed lately has been with Fenix. We'll see if it happens post-updates.

Sounds-wise I'm barely hearing the engines in the external view during startup. The runup sounds a lot better though, and the buzzsaw is a nice touch at TO. Still needs a fair bit more work compared to other offerings on the market imo.

I gotta say now that I stopped tinkering and am just enjoying flying w/DX11, the weather changes are wonderful! It's so cool flying right now up in the North of Japan by a big low pressure system and having the wind make my flight a bumpy mess. This is the turbulence I was hoping for. The cloud changes are also pretty noticeable, and for the better. I'm definitely a fan of SU10 so far- the sim feels much more alive now.

Back to TAA/DX11 for me, DX12 was causing all sorts of weird artifacts and DLSS was blurry for glass like others have said. This is a good step forward though, and I'm sure they're going to be able to dial it in with some more time. Our sim is finally growing up! 😂

I am having this issue as well, no 310 mods installed.

If I had to pick one easy thing it would be to get back the spot plane view camera from the last 25 years. There’s zero reason they needed to remove this from the game. The code for it is still likely even part of the current code base.

Honorable mentions to inertia and weather as well though. This sim needs a lot more than one thing fixed… 🙂

Might be dumb but the better frame rate of the PMDG 737 has me going to it a lot more frequently than the Fenix plane, even though the Fenix one is mostly better across the board from a feature standpoint.

33, been going since FS95. Bright and early!

Flying it now and while my GPU utilization is high (90-95%), I'm still holding around 70C. The G3000 screens must be a bit more graphics-intense than some others.

No clue what the real thing sounds like, but this plane is an absolute sleeper. Awesome little plane!

This thing is working perfectly for me now after the patch. 40-45 smooth FPS, this feels like a dream compared to what we've been dealing with for the last 2+ years.

This is great news! Won't be able to try it out myself for a month or so unfortunately.

"Most of the time". That's really the problem with this plane, I have not found it to be reliable. Sometimes it'll hit the ILS perfectly and then the next time I visit the airport it has no clue what is going on. Sometimes it'll take a sharp turn without issue, other times it's like you're doing a slalom.

Another tick in the 'meh' column here. I'm not impressed when the WT CJ4 and FBW A320 both do LNAV far better and have more reliable FMS functionality. I don't think I've convinced it to do a direct waypoint action correctly a single time, and it often messes up the ILS. Get it on sale, don't pay full price.

I'm using the stick portion only and it works flawlessly on M1 Max MacBook Pro and XP11. Excellent mobile setup.

I mean don't get me wrong, I can easily run it on ultra but the FPS hit just isn't worth it to me. I want to be as close to 60 fps as possible with high+ settings at 100% native resolution.

Difference between ultra and high is night and day for me- I stick with high though, at almost 4K resolution, ultra is just too much for my 9900K and 3080.

Honestly if they'd just plow the roads and airports, the winter depiction would be nearly spot on with real life. As with most of MSFS, with a bit more refinement it'd be amazing.
