Shimmering is about 80% gone for me now. Still some areas with pretty extreme moiré patterns. Getting 80-90 or so fps with frame gen on. Can't complain too much.

Wouldn't be my recommendation. I'm getting 90-120 FPS with FG on with GSYNC and it's amazingly smooth.

No performance issues here but I do experience shimmering. It’s definitely not just your setup.

I briefly tried FSLTL last night and it was mostly accurate with AA on the north side of T4, WN on the south side of T4, and others (particularly Delta at the time) at T3. Not perfect but it looked generally OK.

First impression- Solid B+ or maybe A- in my book. Great performance, a couple visual bugs that can be easily fixed. Unless the flightbeam one makes me breakfast too, I am perfectly happy with this one and will not spend any more money on PHX. Great job!

Thanks for that! Couldn't imagine the sim without AccuSeason and the HD airport textures. They're easy to take for granted because they don't scream at you every time you load the sim, but they really do make a huge difference to the overall immersion and enjoyment.

I've been noticing the manipulators thread steadily increasing on many of my flights. Since I disabled FSLTL and went back to stock live traffic it has gotten significantly better.

^ Hardly looks like the K was 'demolished'.

Hope everyone ends up happy with their purchases and enjoys the insane performance Frame Generation has granted us.

I am typically CPU-bound running at 4K with my 13900K and 4090, BUT… with frame generation I’m usually getting 90-130 fps. There’s no more performance worth chasing. I have finally achieved sim nirvana and it feels amazing.

Shout out to MSFS itself. Our sim is finally maturing a bit and the polish is beginning to show. No, it's not perfect. It never will be perfect, but boy have we come a long way from TA1 years back.

there's no setup required just make sure you have "extend" in the windows monitor option rather than "duplicate". The sim should choose your primary monitor as the main screen. You're then free to do whatever with your second one.

Yep- I got a 4K for my main and 1440p in vertical orientation for my second. It works awesome.
