Eagle Valley Air shutdown this weekend (very large bush VA without a lot of restrictions). I don't know where to start to find a similar one as a replacement. Any suggestions would be great. I like to fly in Orbx areas, low and slow.

Luis,Hello my friend! How have you been?To answer the question, I fly in VC, but the pixelly view is there either inside or out of the VC. I use trackir as well. Is there a way to repair this file if it somehow became corrupt?

I've done something to make the Milky Way look too large and pixelly...instead of looking faint in the distant sky, it looks like it is just outside of my window, but enhanced / blown-up about 25x. All of the other graphics look great. Anyone have any recommendations? Is there a way to simply remove the milky way itself (bmp file?)Thanks

Hey Paul,Thanks for the response. I have a quad core Dell that is about a year and a half old. I have 3 gig of RAM and Nvidia 8800GTX 768.I recently installed Nhancer and set it up with multisampling 8xc and 16x anistrophic? (I'm not at my home computer right now).I run gamebooster to disable a lot of services that aren't needed. I usually run active sky on my 4th core only.I don't know much about AA or Aniso or what it does. Some of the things that I read suggest that it may be part of it though??? I'm really happen with my performance and everything else except for these night sky textures. I don't notice the day textures as much, but it may be simply because it's easier to see the contrast at night.

I installed FEX about a week ago and notice that when I'm flying at night, if I pan around, some of the background sky textures come in and out of focus. (I don't know if this is specifically related to FEX or not.)For example, whatever is straight in from of me is in focus, but some of the textures to the left or right are "pixelly" and look as if they are blown up. Some of the night sky look like ovals to the left or right. Then if I pan left, those textures become smaller, but come in to focus.I have tinkered with my nVidia settings, but I can't seem to figure it out.Also, the milky way is a prime example of when it comes out of focus. It looks nice when it is small and in front of me, but if I pan a little, it becomes this big comet-like image.Same thing with the regular night sky. The horizon layers look very bad on the sides, but more smooth in front. Any help or suggestions would be great!

I've done something and the Milky Way is wayyy too bright. Even on the ground, it is a huge distraction. It looks more like a comet than the milky way. I'm not sure what I've done to make it this way. All of my other textures look fine. Is there something I can do to remove it or make it less bright?

Are you talking about a program called AutoStar X? I saw that program listed somewhere, but haven't tried it.

Thanks for the reply Alan.I've been flying FSX for 2 years and have never noticed it like this before...I must have done something wrong because it doesn't look right. Do you have any suggestions? In FSX, it is more visible than what the picture displays (first picture).

I have ultimate terrain x, ground environment x, and flight environment x and have tried different things, but can't seem to figure out what caused it. I have nvidia 8800GTX and use Nhancer. I'll try to post a screen shot. It only shows up at night in the eastern sky and seems to "follow me around."

I have to manually load the pro flight plug-in before I launch a plane in FSX. Sometimes a planes' switches are all messed up (i.e. landing lights turn on lights and fuel pumps).Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way around it where FSX automatically loads everything the first time?

Chuck,When did you buy the Saitek? It sounds like Saitek is probably a better product, but the phantom button makes CH a safer choice?

George,Thanks for your help. Are you saying that I wouldn't need to install the saitek software to use it in FSX? It sounds like that is the biggest problem. You can still assign everything in FSX like before though, correct? Can you set up profiles in FSX if I fly an F-18 and use a joystick with one setting, and then switch over and fly a 737 with they yoke under different settings, or do you need the Saitek software for the profiles?Thanks again,JeffHuntsville, Alabama

I'm about to buy a yoke/ pedals.I've heard that Saitek feels more realistic, but has some software issues. CH is more reliable, but not as well built.Should I get the same brand rudder pedals as the yoke that I buy or does it not matter?Thanks.

Does anyone have a good mesh / scenery for the British Virgin Islands?It seems like the better mesh ends with the US Virgin Islands b/c most of the BVI are either flat or have little "bumps" as mountains?Thanks.
