hi guys,just wanted to bring up what I believe is a minor issue which can be solved on your own.on a few paints like JANET and AUSTRIAN, some effects and features don't show up:the beacon even if switched on, the wheel chocks and pitot covers even if selected.this must be related to something wrong in the equipment_decal texture (alpha layer?)I made a quick test by repalcing on both these liveries the texture taken from another repaintwhich I knew worked fine (SAS and ASKY) and the missing stuff was back in place, onlything is that by keeping the switch the ground equipment is unproperly marked.something you can live with, would be anyway nice if the original files could be updateone day or another.Francesco

thank you for replying Vaughan, I'm pretty sure it would work with photoshop but this sowftwareis a bit too expensive for me ... system memory should not be a problem I have 8 GB RAM witha graphic card of 3 MB ... I didn't try to open smaller files with X4 and stupidly I already removedthe program from my HD, all I can tell is that I'm able to open anything smaller than the master filewith PSP9Francesco

same for me, right now I'm trying to get the 600 kit with google chrome but don't think it will work ...a bit off topic but which program are you guys using to paint?I have a paint shop pro 9 but can't open the fuselage master (800/900) due to a lack of memory (?) ...I tried to see if I could open it with a trial version of corel paint shop pro X4 but all I got was a series of70 and over singular psd files which I could not merge in one.Francesco

hi all, I'm pretty new around here and I'm sorry if this already emerged before (though I briefly searched the forum and haven't found anything). is anybody else experiencing bearing differences between wind indications displayed on the ND and the FMS progress page? it looks to me this could be related to the magnetic deviation as it varies with the plane position: once I had about 10°/15° whileen route from FACT to FAEL and another time I had only 1°/2° cruising between MPTO and SKBO (or was it EDDM to LEPA? Idon't remember exactly). I should add that I updated my AIRAC to the latest cycle so it's not PMDG's native and that before doing so I don't recall havingever noticed this. Francesco (aka franz)

hi all, just got my first freeze today while enroute from EDDM to LEPA, at TOD which by coincidence was 02 NM before awaypoint with a slight course change afterwards ... voilà, it happend ... I had just finished entering an assumed wind forecastfor the descend, soon after the A/T began reduction and the descend began, a few hundred feet in the dive and there it stayeduntill CNTRL-ALT-CANC. no big deal as it is the first time after some hours of playing around, obviously it would be nice if stays at this toll. I'm confident these guys will improve the game in the future. franz
