  1. The foolproof way to get the map version I find, is to empty the internet cache folder (IE: tools -> internet options -> Delete. Then in the same option screen you can open the folder by pressing the setups button -> Show files. Then I've allready opened the correct map in the browser, so when I now move around, it downloads new images. I can then update the cache folder by pressing "F5", and look at the images, what info is in the name of them.(PS: I'm using a Norwegian version of Windows, so not sure if my menu options translations are 100% correct.)Another way in Firefox, is to simply navigate to the correct map, then on the Tools menu select "Page information", then media, and see if you find the number resembling the old version.
  2. These settings are reffering to services at the bottom of the file. Scroll down, and you'll see the same services and what urls they use.
  3. I have no problems flying at 170kts, or even higher. Mostly default settings, using the best quality settings during installation. Changed the rate settings to match my internet speed, and of course if using service 1, you should update map version. I did some changes to level mapping, but that doesn't seem to change anything much.In FSX.cfg I've only changed the "FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION", to "0.33", no other changes.
  4. I found it in that location, running Vista64.
  5. Yes, like I said yesterday. Only problem I had was that I'm not sure where this driver is located, so I wasn't able to add it. Anyone know?
  6. Here's another way I think: http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=dseo
  7. I'm a nVidia fan myself, but I still see people recommending ATI, mostly because of the price/performance ratio, but still.
  8. Service Example 1: map version=321
  9. I guess the ones flying outside Australia still needs Tileproxy ;)
  10. Does anyone know a way to allways allow unsigned drivers, so I don't have to select this everytime I'm flying?
  11. Have you locked FPS in FSX, and if the lock FPS is too high this will happen. Try lowering it.
  12. I've gotten autogen one place, but I don't think TP worked on that area. I don't usually get any autogen when I use TP. My gugess is that your FS don't load TP at all.
  13. I see now, but didn't realize that before. Doesn't seem to effect the movement much, but I see the coins being dropped move slower. Maybe the friction should be higher, to make them slide less when on top of each other.
  14. Nice work :( Only problem I can see is that the coins vibrate, which makes them move when they should stay still, but you seem to have matched the weight and behavior of the coins well.
  15. It looks like it's version 1.9, but I'm not 100% sure. However Service 1 is now up to version 300.
  16. As far as I know, the zoom method will not work in Tileproxy: 5_57000 , 4_240000 , 3_1000000. I'm also not sure if the position system will work, as it seems position 0_0 is somewhere in Sweden.
  17. Service Example 1: map version=297
  18. Service Example 1 are now on map version 282, not 277.
  19. Think you can select Run... on the start menu, and type: "%Appdata%\Microsoft\FSX" . This should point you directly to it. This works on Vista at least.
  20. G has been blocked, because they didn't like us using it.
  21. NP, it seems this will happen often when you go from a High Res area and into a lower res area, or the other way around.
  22. Also the VE service doesn't have high quality textures for most of the world. US is good, but Africa, South America, Europe and Asia only has HQ in some areas.
