  1. Update. I rechecked my back up files and did find MCE V2.4.7.4. Uninstalled V2.5.1.2 and installed V2.4.7.4 I am able to run with PMDG 747NGX with V2.4.7.4 but not V2.5.2.1. Also none of the Captin Sim's will work with either version.
  2. My chipset is Intel Core i7 x990 @3.47GHz Hard drive Seagate ST 310005 24AS SCSI. Unfortunatley do not have version prior to 2.5 When I downloaded 2.5 I replaced the previous version. It did work prior to 2.5, but I 've added more add-ons since the last time I ran before 2.5. I've tried to figure out if any new add-ons has made a significant change to FSX. I find it's weird that none of the default aircraft are affected and a select few of my add-ons work ok. Racking my brain trying to figure out what's differnet between the add-ons that do work and the ones that don't
  3. I too have been having the same problem. MCE works with all default aircraft, but refuses to work with addon except a select few. I also occassionally get an error that MCE is unable to find FSInsider.dll which when I checked is present. Also noticed my VOX ATC now takes an long time to initinalize Don't know if the two problems are related This all started with version 2.5. Tech support has been stellar in trying to assist with this problem, but just have not been able to resolve the issue.
  4. The installer ran fine for me. Game worked at first, until I crashed on the first flight. After that I got the corrupted install when I tried to restart. It evidently saved a corrupted file somewhere on my system. Have looked in every folder I could think of, but no luck
  5. Installed Flight, crashed on my 1st flight, had to exit the game. Next morning when I booted up my computer and tried to play Flight I got an error message that my install of Flight was corrupted and would close down. Uninstalled Flight and did a reinstall, but when I attempt to launch Flight I still get the message I have a corrupted install. I tried to run the repair but I get a message that the repair is looking for a msi file underAppData, local which is not there. Uninstalled again and looked for every file I could which had to do with Flight. I still get a corrupted install message after a third reinstall. Uninstall is not removing all the files that it needs to. Out of desperation I did a system restore to no avail, still have a corrupted install.
  6. With the Thrustmaster Warthog joystick, throttle and MDF's plugged in Vox ATC crashs to fatal error. When I unplug these items VOX works just fine. The Warthog also generates a continous key/button output. When I attempt to program my MCE program the Warthog overrides any button I push on my Saitek yoke.
  7. When using Thrustmaster Warthog joystick and throttle with Thrustmaster MFD's. I get thre dreaded fatal error message when I try to enable Vox ATC. Anyone else have this problem with this type hardware setup?
  8. Got it fixed. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now shows up correctly.
  9. I have Thrustmaster Warthog Joystick, Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle, Saitek Throttle quadrants x3, Saitek Yoke, One Shot Pulse Generator 2160,USB Pulse Generator 2120,DTA Rotary Encoder.
  10. After installing Linda and setting up the joystick options, when I pick an aircraft I get the following on the joystick option screen
  11. OK, Got it sorted out by uninstalling FSUIPC and doing a fresh install. Not sure what the conflict was, but fixed now. Just need to have more than 5 devices available for use.
  12. Need more than 5 devices. I have 4 Saitek throttles, Saitek Pro Flight Switch Panel,Saitek yoke, DTA rotary encoder, USB Pulse generator 2120, USB Pulse generator 2160, CH Products Multi-function Panel, Warthog joystick and Warthog throttle.
  13. Installed LINDA. When I run the exec I get the following error
  14. Ok, got it sorted out. Found that for the rudder to work correctly I have to be actually moving, otherwise won't function as it should
  15. Same Problem with my Saitek pedals, but it doesn't matter if engines are on, still return to neutral when pushed. Use to work just fine, don't know if something got corrupted or not.
  16. Got it sorted out with the help of Mr West from VOX Atc X. It turns out to be my Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle. If I disable the throttle in devices manager VOX works without any problem, with the throttle enabled I get an unable to access memory error. What a pain I guess next stop is Thrustmaster support.
  17. Hi, I have VOX ATC V5.63. Has been working fine until now. When I try to start I get the dreaded 'Fatal Error" message. I did a form search on fatal errors, but could not find a solution to my particular problem which shows up in the error log. Tried contacting the company without success. I get an error in the error log which more or less states "unable to access protected memory, memory may be corrupted" Any help would be much appreicated.
  18. Yes, I finally figured that out. I reinstalled IE, did the install of VOXATC without issue. Thanks for the reply
  19. Thought I had it solved. When I booted up this morning VOXATC had uninstalled itself. Back to square one.
  20. Ok, Finally got VOXATC to install. I had to let the install run to the point of doing the commit, but instead of closing the commit window after selecting the the aircraft I had to shut windows down and reboot. Before, every time I tried to close the commit window the program would uninstall itself. Do not have a clue as to why I had to do the install in this manner.
  21. Yes, I used the 5.63 version with the setup.exe and the setup.msi. Used the setup.exe. Beginning to think maybe I have a corrupted version of Windows 7? I finally heard from the creators of VOXATC and they verified the program is compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. Wish there was some way to import from another system. Would have to figure out how to do a system registry though. What directory did you install FSX and VOXATC?
  22. I'm using Home Premium Upgrade Windows 7 64bit. Is yours the upgrade Version? If it's the same version then this doesn't make any sense why it would install in one and not the other. Are you using VOXATC 5.63 non-speech pack version? I even did a reinstall of windows 7 just to be sure something didn't get corrupted in the first install.
  23. Tried installing as admin. Tried installing as Vista compatible. With each attempt I get the error message as stated above. No log present to view to see which file it states it is unable to find. Which version of Windows 7 do you have it installed?
  24. "Error1001:An exception occurred during the Commit phase of instillation. This exception will be ignored and instillation will continue. However the application might not function correctly after instillation is complete. the system canot find the file specified." I click OK at that point then new box comes up"The installer was interrupted before VOXATC could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again." At which point I reattempt to install again without success.
