  4. Hi All, Wondering if there are any other BA virtual members here that cant access the website? Trying to work out if its my internet or the website that is the problem! bavirtual.co.uk Thanks, Shane
  5. Hi All, So today I tried to use the E-Jets 195 V2 on FSX and when I change view the plane will bounce. This has happened with the Wilco Airbus Evolution Vol 1, and on that I had to change the static aircraft value. Is anyone able to tell me there static aircraft values for this plane and the contact points so that I can compare them to the values and alter mine if necessary? From all the searching I've done it suggests that it comes down to one of these 2 factors and people suggest trial and error, but my knowledge of .cfg files and where I would need to start in terms of trial and error is limited! Any help is as always appreciated, Thanks, Shane
  6. Hi All, Having searched google i cant seem to find any solution to this problem. But on my wilco airbus i cannot seem to get the overhead cockpit light to turn on. There are also no cabin lights when i look externally onto my aircraft. I could be being completely thick and missing something? Any help would be great! Thanks, Shane
  7. Hi Guys, Thanks for that it does work! Couple of texture problems with the passengers doors but its better than having nothing! Cheers, Shane
  8. Hi All, Was just wondering whether anyone knew where i could get a British Airways City Flyer repaint for the E175 or E195 of the Wilco E-Jetsv2 for FSX? Have had a look around and cant seem to find one. Many Thanks, Shane

  10. Hi All, Sorry for the delay. Just thought id give an update! I reinstalled fsx and have installed the wilco airbus vol1 touch wood, after 3 flights i have not had the hanging issue. Still not sure what was causing the problem. I havent installed SP2 yet as i kept getting a 'fatal error' on startup of fsx after installing that service pack. Will let you know if anything changes! Thanks for your help, Shane
  11. Hi Jim, Thanks a lot for your advice there. Ill give that a go! Just really frustrating when i know it can work! Ill post back with my results and let you know how i get on! Might be a few days as got a lot of work coming up! Thanks, Shane
  12. Hi JKH, I think im being a bit thick here. But is is the Avsim Hardware and Software Guide for FSX isnt it? If so which bit am i referring to in it? Thanks again, Shane
  13. Hi All, I have recently started to encounter a hanging/freezing issue mid flight after about 1 and a half hours but it can happen after 2 or even 2 and a half hours of flying. When it happens the sound continues fine but there is no movement in FSX, the only way I can escape it to use task manager. I don't get any CTD and it doesn't come up 'FSX has stopped responding and needs to restart'. I have been able to run FSX perfectly on my current system however have had to recently reinstall it. Below I have posted the event log and my system specs alongside any addons I am running. Event Log Log Name: Application Source: Application Hang Date: 16/07/2013 13:25:54 Event ID: 1002 Task Category: (101) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: Shane-PC Description: The program fsx.exe version 10.0.61472.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. Like I said I have been able to use FSX perfectly with more Add Ons before but I had to reinstall. Since the reinstall every flight I have had this hanging problem. I have deleted the fsx.cfg and allowed it to rebuild itself which hasn't helped. Numerous googling has assisted me either. I have tried my graphics driver at both the latest and now I have rolled it back both of which have been unsuccessful. Thanks in advance, Shane
  14. Will, any idea where we can find information about feelthere doing a 737 classic? I personally would be very interested! I loved the wilco/feelthere 737-3/4/5 thats been out for ages however can no longer use it due to compatibility issues with fsinn and fscopilot :( So a remake of it which could potentially be compatible sounds great! Cheers,Shane
  15. Hi all, Just an update. The graphics card was withdrawn so have now switched to an ASUS GeForce GTX 560TI DCII 1024MB GDDR5. I have also switched the motherboard to a ASUS P8P67 Le Intel P67 Socket 1155 Motherboard - B3 Revision. I know that the P67 chipsets are good for overclocking and from what many of you were saying this was a better choice than the original suggested i posted above. Thanks,Shane
  16. Cheers Andrew. Ill take a look! Thanks
  17. Andrew, Sorry i dont know what VRM's are. How can i find out if my motherboard has what i will need? Cheers,
  18. Morning all, Thanks a lot to everyones responces! I really do appreciate it. As ive said before im not a computer genius so bare with me haha..... Kenneth - My memory is 2x4 :) Rich - Due to budget limitations im not thinking about a cooler just at this minute. Although when i do go for one i would probably get something around the H80 by the sounds of things. For the time being id just be happy with higher than 19FPS at EGKK with UK2000 Scenery in LD767 lol. The memory is 1600Mhz RAM if thats what you meant? Cory - What is CAS on the RAM? Sorry i did say im not brilliant with all this! Also im looking to get a cooler in future but would probably go for the H80 thereabouts. Chris - I cant afford to upgrade my CPU any higher. The one you talk about would be an extra £80 roughly. Also whats the major difference in the motherboard you mentioned to mine? I know a few of you mentioned upgrading the powersupply further. Based on what i can afford would ThermalTake TR2 Series 700W 80 PLUS® Bronze Power Supply be any good? Its 50W better but is at roughly the same price. Cheers,Shane
  19. Hello everyone,Some of you will probably have read my previous topic asking for advice for a new build i am planning on getting. I just thought i would quickly post the finalised proposal i have:Windows 7 - 64 bitIntel i5 2500k 3.3ghz CPUMSI GeForce GTX 560ti Twin FrozR 1024MB Graphics CardCorsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 Dual Channel RAMGigabyte GA-Z68A-D3-B3 Intel Z68 MotherboardWestern Digital Caviar Green 1TB 64MB Cache Hard Disk Drive 6gb/s OEM Hard DriveCoolermaster GX 650W 80PLUS power supplyI havent included any extra cooling as initially i am not planning on overclocking excessively due to budget limitations. Once i can afford it i plan to buy a new CPU cooler. Can anyone see any problems with the system setup i propose?Obviously i understand i can always buy a better CPU and a better graphics card but i have to be realistic in what i can afford. I hear that a i5 2500K provides extremely good performance within FSX anyway? I suspect it will be a major improvement on the 2.93ghz Dual Core CPU i am currently using. Thanks,Shane
  20. Hi again,Ive updated my proposed build based on comments from friends and on here. I was thinking something along the lines of:Windows 7 64 bit2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processor @ 3.3ghz socket 1155Gigabye GA-Z68A-D3-B3 Intel Z68 Socket 1155 MotherboardMSI GeForce GTX 560Ti Twin FrozR II 1024mb GDDR5 Graphics CardCorsair Vengeance 8GB Ram 2x4GB DDR3 1600Mhz Dual Channel KitWestern Digital Caviar Green Power 1tb 64MB Cache Hard Disk 6gb/s OEMJust wondering what peoples thoughts are on that? Obviously i reckon i will need a fairly decent power supply right? Any suggestions? So far the above comes to £520. Ideally im looking to spend within the region of £600. I already have a monitor. Thanks,Shane
  21. Hello, Thanks to everyone who has posted. Especially Andrew, like i said im not computer savvy enough to do all this alone so i apologise if i sound thick occasionally.... I have had several people say the i5 2500k at 3.3ghz would be just as good as the i7 and would save me approx 100 quid so i think thats definately something i will look into. The original build i posted, certain components came as a barebundles set but i think ill take the route of buying each component seperately. It would seem this way i can tailor the system better. Ill put my critic at bay by apologising for the 'vague' title. I dont often post on forums but i hoped i would get some friendly assistance this time, which all but one i did :) So thanks again! Shane
  22. Hi All :)Im thinking of upgrading my PC in the coming weeks to make it more up to date with FSX and improve fps and get rid of the annoying 'Out Of Memory' error haha. Just wondering what you guys think to the build below:- Windows 7 64bit- Intel i7 2600K processor (3.4ghz)- Ram 8gb Corsair DDR3 (1600mhz)- Asus P8P67 Pro Intel P67 (Socket 1155) Motherboard- Graphics Card = MSI GeForce GTX 560TI Twin FrozR II (Shader Clock 1644Mhz, 1024MB memory) - Hard drive = Western Digital Caviar Green Power 1TB, 64MB Cache, 6GB/s OEMI have to confess im not particularly computer savvy, but luckily i have a friend who is who has been able to help me.Like i said my aim is to be able to run better addons than i can at the moment. I havent purchased the 737NGX yet as my system wouldnt be able to handle it. However im hoping the build i have mentioned above would be able to run it smoothly? Currently the best i can do scenery wise is UK2000 at EGKK. It would be nice if i could smoothly run some better airport scenery as the pictures look amazing! But obviously smooth addons planes is another must with a new build.Hope ive provided enough informationCheers,Shane
  23. Hi all,I too check back regularly to this website (once or twice a day) in the hope that an update has come, usually im dissapointed. I understand PMDG does a fantastic job with their products and i do not expect them to release details everyday or a release date despite everyone asking. I think what annoys most people, me included, is that in both the updates PMDG has made in this forum they first said about a week for another update and we waited almost a month. Then on this update they said a few days, yet again we have waited a month. I am not inpatient and do not expect a release date (i get annoyed with everyone keep asking for release dates) or updates all the time with pictures etc, i appreciate that getting the 737NGX to a quality up to PMDG standards will be time consuming, but when its done will be amazing! However i think, and probably a lot of people would agree, that PMDG should stop saying they will have another update in a 'few days' or a 'couple of weeks' as its obvious that for whatever reason they cannot do this. It only gets everyones hopes up and then when we dont get an update we get more annoyed again and then the stupid posts about switching to other 737's and all that happen.Finishing on a postivie though i cannot wait for the 737NGX ever since being let down with Wilco's 737 classic and the Fscopilot problems that come with it =( sad times! PMDG's products are always amazing, especially there 747-4/8 which i cannot get enough flying hours from! Bring on the 737 and 777 and keep up the good work guys =)Shane Reeves
  24. Noel,I downloaded FPS Limiter and ran the setup but the black box flashed for a second and then dissapeared. I dont know what im suppose to do with the files that come with it either.Shane
  25. Noel,I cant find a download for FPSlimiter.exe i type it into google and its coming up with rapidshare and everything. But when i try that it says no more files. Have you got a link? Also what do you mean by AA resolution and all that? Finally i havent checked the Bufferpools because i dont really understand what i am doing with them. Do i delete them or change them? Also should i back the originals up? And where can i files the bufferpools config file?I really appreciate your help, and im probably coming across as a thick **** but i just really wanna get this sorted. I didnt have this problem before changing the CPU. I have also noticed that it dosent matter what plane i am in anymore add-on or default it jolts. It just seems to be worse on propeller aircraft such as PMDG J41 and default King airs. PMDG 747 and Wilco 737 arent as bad.Shane
