All of the above are excellent choices, another fine Asian scenery that I just love flying into is UAAA Almaty, Kazakhstan. The airport scenery itself is just amazing for freeware. You can also find a wonderful photo-scenery by Massimo Liperi that compliments the airport and makes the approach even more enjoyable. While you're there you can do a short hop across the himalyia's to Katmandu or Paro for some challenging approaches. FSX does and can produce wx just like the pic. REX Essential or AS2012 both have the runway snow effect, and OPUS FSX does an amazing job of simulating low vis the same can be said about AS2012 with the latest build 4755 installed. Not sure about the REX weather engine as I have never used it and most people use either AS2012 or OPUS. Hmm, I feel a few short hops from YQX-YYT coming on. Hello, There is also GMAP, a freeware version available from http://www.fswidgets.com They have all the versions u may want for all operating systems and simulators. Same problem here with the transparency issue. Contacted PMDG because I would just like to get my money back, for a product I've only used for a few hours, and still unable to solve the ghosting. Unlike other developers PMDG would rather I jump through hoops and diagnose and uninstall software that was running fine untill I installed the 747X. The problem does not occur with any other payware add-on that I run. Obviously lots of people are experiancing this, the DX10 preview fix I dont want to try because my other payware aircraft does not recommend it, and why fix something if it aint broke. My sys specs are Vista 64X, C2Q9550, 3.0Ghz, 4GBRam, ATIHD3870 512mb, 750Gb. Ray
