Hi all, I have the latest 3.0.17 version installed and found out I can use a filter to only show addon airports. In FS24 I have selected the correct Library function to connect to sim. Ran a new database search for FS24 while the sim is running. Restarted the PC, LNM, and FS24. When I select the filter to show only addons everything goes away! I can still toggle VOR, ADF, etc but no airports are showing, not even non addons. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks Gary. I finally figured it out. I had a non default aircraft in my startup scenario. The Commander didn't like that for some reason. I changed to a default aircraft and saved that flight as default. No more issues with the Commander...pheeew. Reason I have P3Dv2 and v3 both installed is for beta testing ORBX products. Otherwise I would most likely uninstall P3Dv3 and also FSX.

Hi all, Huge fan of the Aero Commander and just saw it for sale. Downloaded today and installed to FSX, P3Dv2 and P3Dv3. In all sims when I select the Commander it is not running. While trying to figure out the start sequence I get the "End Flight" box that pops up. This is in all 3 sims. I can click on "continue flying" but it pops back up after another 8- 10 seconds. No other aircraft in my sims behaves this way. Any ideas? Thanks Rob

Finally solved my problem with AI not showing up in P3Dv3.1 It was indeed a minor correction to the simobjects.cfg file and now it is working great!

Hi Kyle, Problem solved! Sorry I wrote up a ticket. It can be ignored. While digging around some more I found your Knowledge Base. I had one of the error logging buttons active for one thing. The other was I thought you only had to have a default aircraft loaded before changing to the T7. By following the Knowlegde Base info on creating a scenario, plus checking that it always shows first when starting P3Dv3, I can select the T7 and all functions are working. Thanks for your time and now I have a lot of reading and learning to do!

Ok, I did ignore it and ran the rest. A few more items respond now. Some of the fuel and electrical switches respond. Autopilot does not, nor does the FMC. Panel light switches work, barometer set can be changed. I use the default Mooney for startup flight, then change to the T7. All other aircraft in P3Dv3, including addons, work with mouse clicks for switches, etc. EDIT Just did a complete reinstall but no change.

Hi Kyle, Thanks for your reply. I just got the T7 and installed to P3Dv3. I did read that file, but incorrectly assumed that if I had everything working ok in FSX and P3Dv2.5 that I must have the simconnect files installed already. So, I went back and rebooted my PC, installed all 6 of the msi files located in /redist folder in the root of P3Dv3. When I got to the 4th one (FSX-SP1) I get an error as follows: I went to Add/Remove Programs and uninstalled all simconnect installations listed there. Then reinstalled them in P3dV3 (after another reboot of my PC). I still get the same error msg when running the mis in FSX-SP1 folder.

Hi all, Brand new user of the T7. Just installed, activated, and began to take a look before reading all the manual info. Right away I notice that using the mouse cursor to click on anything does not work for setting up autopilot settings. I do see what looks like a hand when I mouse over the throttles. Do I just need to reinstall or is this an issue peculiar to me? Thanks for any help. I did try a search of this forum first.

The L1011 is in P3Dv3 by default.

Glad to see a civil discourse here. I'm looking into buying the T7 for P3D.

Hi all, My search is not finding this information so I'm asking here, if anyone knows the lines to add to the fsx.cfg or p3d.cfg that displays the longitude/latitude readout on the screen when you use Shift + z I'd like to be able to see either decimal readout or degrees readout by having both in the cfg and commenting out the one I'm not using. I just tried it using the Estonia Migration tool to install. Looks ok in the Select Aircraft menu but nothing shows up on the tarmac

Hi Steve, Just to update, I visited MS support and did an update for my Window 7 installation ( just over 300 MB!), but that didn't solve it. So, I downloaded the hotfix in you link and installed it. It broke my Windows and I had to go to a restore point to get it back working again. It looks like I'm just out of luck on using the Scenery Fixer.

Hi again Steve, I tried your suggestions and neither one worked for me. Ran the DX10 Controller.exe directly from the installed folder and got the same error. Then I ran the DX10ToolBox.exe and get this error msg............ FSX Install Dir not set. (0) System Error was 2 I've read through the manual but I'm not getting the Fixer to run at all yet.

Hi Steve, Just received ver 2.2 from John at ORBX for testing FTX airports. After installation into the default location I used the desktop icon to launch the application. I get an error message "DX 10 Controller.exe has stopped working", and have to cancel. I don't see any error log. I'm using Win7 x64. Do I have to switch FSX to DX10 Preview before trying to start the Scenery Fixer? Thanks, Rob Abernathy

Hi All, I have Paul Wheeler's excellent freeware sceneries for the Caribbean islands. I'd also like to get Ultimate Terrain's offering for South America/Caribbean, mostly for South America and Central America. Hi everyone, Would someone please let me know if there are any boats/ships I could use in FSX to travel around in. Some lakes like Tahoe and in the Puget Sound would be fun to have a working boat. I can't seem to find any that work. I tried the Sirocco but it seems to sit high on the water as opposed to being in the water. I'd like to find something a bit smaller perhaps. Hi all, Just returning to flight after 2 yrs and even tho I have a great FS9 installation I installed FSX on a new computer. It looks amazing! I'd like to ask a few recommendations .FSNavigator doesn't work in FSX. :-( Is there something comparable for FSX that can be displayed on a separate monitor?Textures and weather.
