  1. Hello,i'm playing FS since around 15 years. Now I think about trying X-Plane 10 and the CRJ 200. Now I have just some quick questions about it. - is it possible with xplane to use two screens? On the main screen I want to use the virtual cockpit, on the second I want to use some cockpit popups like the navdisplay, fmc etc.- has the crj a weather radar an terrain radar?- are there AI addons like in fsx for real AI Traffic withnreal airlins etc.thnks for any advices.
  2. Just downloaded. Looks interesting, but I didn't got it working right now in the first excitment ;-)http://www.simflight...stant-for-ipad/PS: Damn, I can't edit the topic name. I know its FMC not FCM, sorry ;-)
  3. hi,I know its not the rigth forum, but I don't know another place where I always got some excellent help depending in FSX ;-)I noticed yesterday on a night flight over europe that I have very bright night textures between cities and villages. for examplehttp://i44.tinypic.com/29m877k.jpgThe fields are all very bright. I think in real life you cant see any fields on the ground which are not illuminated. Does anybody know if I can change it?Thank you very much, Nicolas
  4. hi, I just installed may md11 again and have the following problem. standing in cairns an want to make just some testflights. I put in the fms rwy 15 for takeoff and a sid called "swr" or soething i think. and now I want to delete the last waypoint in the flightplan section of the fms and always when i'm doing it I got an crash to desktop. in the event viewer it tells me its caused by the \GAUGES\PMDG_MD11.DLL. already did a new installation. can anybody help? thank you, nicolas
  5. So I tested a little bit more, It has nothing to do with the joystick oder saitek throttle. I deactivated them all and tested it just with the keybord. Inflight I hit the F2 button, the NGX thrustlevers go all the way back to 0% position and after a second they automaticly move a little bit forwards. Its definatly just at the NGX. Tested it with all my other planes.
  6. thanks ;-) yes autothrottle/autopilot is complete disangaged and off.
  7. When I'm on ground, taxing for example, I pull back my saitek throttle quadrant to idle, the thrust levers in my ngx VC also go to idle, the whole back position all to the end (in a range from 100% to 0% they got to 0%; just try to explain it with it) and stay there. Everything perfect. When I'm on final approch, flying, and I pull back my saitek throttle, the thrust levers in the VC also go back to idle (0%), but then after around 1 second they move automaticly a little bit forward (I think around 2% or 3%) and they stay there at that position. I pull back my hardware the same happens. they allways go a little bit forward. And its just in the NGX that Problem. In the Level D 767 it does not happen so I can say its not the saitek prblem. I also see it in my saitek configuration tool that the throttel works fine and its not spiking. After touchdown, after the nosewheel is on the ground, I have to shake a little on my saitek throttle for and backwards and then first the throttle in my NGX stays at the whole end of its range (0%) and then I can activate reverse thrust. Very complicated to explain it properly. English is not my first language and I imagine also to explain it in german would be complicated ;-) Hope its now understandable. Thanks for any help.
  8. I don't have an assigned full thrust button, but thanks for the advise. Anyway the full thrust is not my problem. Just noticed that when I'm inflight and I put my throttles to maximum or minimum the throttles in the NGX go that position, but just for a second and then go a little bit forwards or backwards. And when I towchdown its always a little complicated and as far as I can imagine a little bit unrealistic to use reverse thrust with my assigned reverse thrust lever on my hardware throttle. Whatever, I won't complain about these little things. I can live with it. Its a great plane. I just thought I did something wrong or its just a little setting to fix it or something like this.
  9. Hello together, I have a little problem with my NGX, wihich works perfectly for me, expect for this small problem. When I'm on an approach to an airport and pull back my throttle they go complete to idle, but then after a second or smaller the trottle in the NGX goes a little but upwards. Problem then when I touchdown with my hardware throttle pulled complete backwards, but the NGX throttle is not idle and I can't activate reverse thrust with my assigned reverse thrust lever on my hardware. I can solve it when I "shake" a little on my thrustlever back and forwards after touchdown and then it goes to idle also in the ngx and I can activate reverse thrust. So ist it a bug or is it like in the reality that I cannot use complete idle while I'm still in the air? when I'm on ground my throttle works perfect. When I pull them back to idle its idle. As said, just on the ground. The same thing happens whenn i push my throttle to full thrust. It goes to full thrust, just for a little second and the levers in the NGX go a little bit backwards. Thanks for any help, and sorry if this was asked already. nicolas reich
  10. I made an QRH with clickspots in the indexes to get you directly to the wished page but I have still no answer if i am allowed to upload it. It is just the regular QRH which was included in the NGX download and I placed the clickspots in front of the indexes. It makes it really easier if you fly with emergencies to find a checklist quick for any abormals etc. Anybody has an idea?
  11. hello, when yo fly the ngx with random failures you need a quick look in the QRH. I dont have the printed version und scrolling down in the pdf while flying is sometimes very complicated. so what I did, I used the QRH pdf included in the ngx an made before every line in the several indexes a small grey field. if you click it it will bring you to your wished cecklist. if the checklist ends with "go to the XXX checklist" there is also a field to click.its perfect for use on a second computer or maybe I hope it works also on the ipad (can test it tonight when home from work). now the question: am I allowed to upload it here in the forum? or is there any way to share this file with them who are interested and of course legal owner of the ngx. I ask because the QRH is just included in the NGX download and no public download and I dont want get any trouble with boeing or pmdg ;-)thanks for any advise, nicolas reich
  12. hello, always when I want to load a saved flight FSX makes a crash to desktop. other planes work, its just withe the NGX. any solution for this? thank you
  13. Because of the attack (I read in the middle of the night; I couldnt sleep because of "NGX-Excitement" ;-)) it makes me even much more fun to give you my money for this awesome bird. you all really deserve it. just flow it 30 minutes, now I have to go to work. it is really really awesome. thanks for everyone who worked on this and dont let you drag down of these hacker idiots!
  14. thats the plan. I just go for "planet of the apes" in the version of 1968 ;-)
  15. has the fb picture changed since this morning? or is ist just my imagination? I think this morning there was no runway in sight?
  16. haha, yes that sounds realistic to me ;-) everybody who reads the ngx is released ( I guess it must be ~3 million people;-)) will stand up in front of his computer out of excitment. the energy which then set free will throw the earth out of the orbit ;-)
  17. since monday there is a special atmosphere here in the forum. ;-)since arround 2 years I look at the forum, waiting for a pinned topic, nothing. its so exciting always. and when there is a new topic its so exciting to read what it will say? I will miss this when the NGX is finally released and really cant't imagine that there will be a time after the ngx release. ;-)
  18. good evening/morning/night flight sim world ;-) I spend my evening with watching aviation videos on youtube and found two intersting videos with things of wihich I never heard or seen. the first is a departing 767 in a heavy thunderstorm. the question: is he taking off with extended speedbrakes? is it a special procedure for taking off in heavy rain? the second video is a landing 747 (lufthansa I think) and I ask myself what that system with that mechanic woman voice is ("departing one one" and something after clearing off the runway). thanks for any answers. have a nice night nicolas reich
  19. alright thanks. I just was unsure about the difference between tripple and dual head2go. Just for understanding. In one port of the gtx295 I put in the dual head2go on which i put my two 24 inch screens together as one big "cockpit window" (just the landscape of fsx) and on the second port of the gtx295 i put in my third smaller screen on which I can put for example a 2D panel with ND PFD etc.i'm thinking about that setup but as said I was unsure about. have to buy new screen and the dual head2go
  20. just a quick question about matrox's dual head 2 go. i have as gaphiccard a nvidia 295 with two monitor plugs. is it possible with the dual head 2 go to make 2*24 inch screens to one big screen for the windows in fsx, and an additional 3rd monitor as the main panel?
  21. Good morning together,as you lern always something new in flightsimming I spent now enough time flying with my present knowledge, and I think its time to lern something new on this beautiful sunday ;-)can anybody tell me are ther anywhere some good tutorials for learning- how to read approach, landing, takeoff, sids&stars charts the rigt way.- how to perform a VOR/NDB approach the right way.some things in the flight charts a quite self explaining, but some things are still a mystery for me. ;-) the same at a VOR/NDB approach. I can make an ILS with STARS and transitions and stuff like that, but what exactly is a VOR or NDB approach are also still something strange for me. btw: what kind of approache types exist? I know ILS, visual, VOR, NDB (?). are there still some more?thanks for the help, and a pleasant sunday to everyone ;-)nicolas reichPS: sorry for some maybe existing language mistakes, english is not my first language.
  22. now finally it looks like I found a solution. in another forum someone suggested, to the MSVCR80.dll CTD, not always to take the newest driver of your graphic card and make a new FSX.cfg. so I downloaded a nvidia driver from around december 2010 and deleted my old FSX.cfg, and it looks like its working.maybe thats also an good advise for any kind of CTDs. hope it works. ;-) thanks for helping anybody.nicolas reich
  23. Yes its 64bit and no I have not delete this fil. should I delete it?thanks, nicolas reichedit: and thanks for the advise with event viewer. I found out that the crash comes from the MSVCR80.dll file. now I have an exciting evening program to find out why ;-)
