Bloody awsome, i should of got it when it first came out, my ati 5970 was hopless with fsx also it took me 18 months to figure out i had a faultly card (took 2 months for ati to give me a full refund cant complain lol), when ever it down clocked in 2d mode the drivers would crash, anyway i got a super over clocked evga 580 1536mb, I couldn't wait for the gtx 680 i am more then happy with the gtx 580 even playing bf3 on high settings at a res of 1920x1200 no dramas, ill see what the 680 is like and see if its worth upgrading or just getting another evga 580, track ir is brilliant along with the ch eclipse yoke and pedals! Thanks again!

THIS IS AWSOME, i just changed my gpu to a 580x i should of done it 2 years ago when i got the system! i can have everything maxed out with ngx and get soild 30fps, i also tweeked my gpu with nvida inspector as per what pmdg say to do! AWSOME AWSOME AWSOME first time in 2 years i can actually play fsx and enjoy it

Hi guys just bought a super overclocked evga 5801.5gig :) get it in a day or so! ill def upgrade to a 680 when it comes out!

So it looks like the ati 7970 isnt great for fsx??? i had ati 5970 was terrible drivers had issues and the card was unstable! i think the gtx 580 it is? or ill wait for the gtx 680 it should be out early march the computer guy said!

looks like ill just buy the 1 gtx 580 evga and sit on that and see what comes out gtx 590 etc and get that in sli later on!

The ati hd 7970 looks awsome! its a single gpu at 1000mhz it should kill the gtx 580? ill run it in cross fire for other games too, no word yet of the gtx 680 :(

Hi guys im up for a new video card as my ati 5970 died ive done heaps of research i belive the best is the gtx 580 for fsx and pmdg add ons, MSI N580GTX Lightning XE OC Is the one i am looking at, ill get 2 and run them in sli for playing other days bf3 etc, any other graphics cards better then the gtx 580 for fsx?Thanks guys!Andrew

hi guys,Awesome update! thanks for that! i do all my flying around Australia! and found that the weather in active sky both in fsx and the flight plan is almost %100 accurate when you compare it to the real world weather from naips :) ive done a lot of Ymml to Vhhh sectors and a lot of flying domestically, almost all perfect! the area winds are spot on and also the metars etc, 1 question where does active sky get its data from for the Australia weather area winds etc? I have just bought fsbuild as well and finally got it to connect to ASE sometimes the winds are slightly out when you compare the fsbuild fuel plan winds to the winds in ASE briefing page, although the winds on the ASE briefing page are spot on when you fly a flight, also if you choose a station eg Ymml and look at the winds at say fl360 they match the winds in the ASE plan page :) i think the fs build page sometimes uses different winds from different airports happens more when you do a lot of over water flying where there are no airports!. Is there a way for fsbuild to create a .PLN file you can use in the ASE briefing page? Anyway keep up the awesome work! ThanksAndrew
