Probably on the back burner until the 777 is released, and I think PMDG may want to have a look at sales of the Majestic Q400 before committing further resources.

Exactly... I had no idea that the T7 was so far along. I thought that it was much earlier in development than pre-beta.They probably will push it out just after the release of the DC-6. I assume that it will be this order. DC-6, T7, Dash8, 747v2. [Leave about 3-6months between each release]

I really hope so, the dash I have been looking forward to more than the T7.If not, hello majestic.

I doubt that they scrapped the project.Did they scrap the NGX just due to the iFly? No....

I think there will be no PMDG dash8 at all. To bad, but it is what it is based on fact dash8 wasnt mentioned to long by PMDG.

And remember PMDG is doing the 100/200 Majestic is doing the Q400. So I don't think the Majestic one will effect PMDG that much as they're different planes. I sure am looking forward to both of them (and the T7 and 747 v2 of course :) )Lee

The majestic dash 8-300 Pro and Training editions are high fidelity in terms of systems. The pilot edition isn't as much but it's still better than some payware. Visually it's not pleasing sure but the Q400 exterior is being done by Samdim and the exterior of the Q400 looks very good. And the systems will be up there with PMDG. Lee

PMDG was suppose to be doing the 200/300 series. The Majestic Q400 looks really good so far, nothing even close to what their 300 had been. They had even mentioned going back and giving the 300 a makeover after the Q400 was released. Based on what they have said though, it doesn't look like it will be out anytime soon, they are still in alpha.

The original majestic -300 is from the same era as the original FS2002/4 NG, if not older. If that comparison is anything to go by, then PMDG would only be in history section of flightsim sites.

i would not mind having a dash 8 but i like to fly big jets. i sometimes switch to little ones if i need a change. i barley fly the J41 even though its a great plane.
