March 26, 201214 yr The Majestic is a joke, fidelity to some abstract concepts, amateur hour when it comes tothe actual graphics you have to operate with...pfffft. Not to mention that there's been noactivity on the web site for something like a year, I would put no big hope in that. The best thing to do right now is get XP10, the Q400 available there is just great, I've been flyingit and am very happy with it. March 26, 201214 yr None of that is sound advice. None of it. In fact, the whole post of yours is so inaccurate I find it dizzying.Have to agree (happily) with Zach on this. As one example of Majestic's commitment to their products, the Q300 was patched to version 2.006 in September 2011, less than a year ago indeed. Granted, its graphics can't compare to PMDG standards, but its systems and flight fidelity are impressive and can be compared favorably with anyone's. Their upcoming Q400 looks fantastic, and a video of it on approach and landing was recently posted...proof indeed that the project is alive and well.Now...where is that long-awaited-for PMDG Dash8?? March 26, 201214 yr As always, full of sound and fury....I've owned the Majestic since 2008, do any of you own the FlyJSim Dash 8?Dizzying, ya right... why do I bother... Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines

March 26, 201214 yr I've never owned or used xplane, but from what I have read or heard, its not very in depth. A lot of people complain about the FMC's in the various addon aircraft. Not sure if this is the sim or just the addons. (I read this in the Mcphat ATR-72 forum)I give it to the end of the day for this thread to be locked. Seems to always happen with the Dash 8 threads. March 27, 201214 yr As a RW Dash 8-200/300 pilot, I have found that the Majestic Dash is VERY detailed in terms of systems and it is 100% spot on. Visually, it is not as pleasing as the NGX.My hope is that with the PMDG Dash, we will get the best of both worlds in terms of visuals and systems. Dan
March 27, 201214 yr Thanks for confirming Dan.I especially enjoyed playing with different failures via the instructor control panel, and I am very much looking forward to the Q400. As much as I did not like the 300s and prefered ATRs over them greatly, I was really captivated by the Q400 first time I got up close to it when Tyrolean started sending them to us in place of 300s.Those props, those nice, long fuselage lines... yep, working the OS rotation was highlight of the day, airplanewise. It only could have gotten better if they sent a Fokker (much so for the benefit of variety, admitedly) --Peter Fabian

I think that we show a level of dis-respect to PMDG by discussing another project in this forum, and could likely see a locked post.Anyway while we twiddle our thumbs patiently on the Dash, I think RSR addressed this very topic a few weeks aback by stating (something to the effect) that when and if there is information it would be revealed. I think that is sufficient enough, as no further explanation is really needed. March 27, 201214 yr Commercial Member Peter,My statement was not directed towards you. I am sure that worthwhile discussions are permitted, but bashing I am sure is not tolerated. March 27, 201214 yr I think that we show a level of dis-respect to PMDG by discussing another project in this forum, and could likely see a locked post.Agreed.Then when an admin eventually locks a post, a new one pops up claiming that PMDG doesn't like their customers, it is quite pathetic.
