I did a clean install. Uninstalled previous driver via control panel, rebooted and installed only the display driver and PhysX. DId that already a few times but to no avail. It doesn't matter which version unless it is 347.52 and below.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this but I already asked in the drivers forum and haven't received a response yet. I noticed some serious performance issues with any Nvidia driver that goes beyond 347.52. My fps went from 20-30 (before driver update) to 12-15 and it lags horribly. I noticed this only when using PMDG aircraft and I am running FSX non SE with a triple screen setup in DX10. Further setup information: Win7 64bit, i7 4770k 4,3GHz, GTX770 Phantom 4GB, 500GB SSD, 8GB RAM I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue?

Ok rolling back to 347.52 fixed it..

I haven't flown for a while now but since installing driver 350.12 I fired up my sim just to find that my FSX stutters horribly and I am averaging at 12-13fps in Nv Surround. MSI afterburner shows a GPU usage of max. 40% (I'm using DX10). Does anyone else experience this??

You're sure that you set window_size =0.333, 1.000? For me it works flawless in NV surround. No more mouse flicker and huge panels.

This flickering problem has been there quite a long time even before SweetFX was released. It's not a dx10 specific issue, even with dx9 the flashes are still there. Quite annoying when loading a PMDG plane and it undergoes it's 15sec. init phase the screen flashes every second..

Hmm I still haven't had the oppurtunity to test it. Yesterday I searched for more info on this but it seems there is not one single legit image on the net that shows FSX working with it. It's a shame... GE has such great potential for a flightsim environment but my guess is Google refuses access from any other software to interact with it.

So no one ever heard of this before? :huh:

Ok so this must be a HUGE joke. I unchecked everything in the YMML control panel, fired up the sim at RWY16, seeing a maximum of 22-23fps (which equals a gain of ~2fps in total) at night, without any kind of traffic and still it stutters like hell. Congratulations orbx on this piece of junk scenery. This is how customers throw money out of the window..

I bought the scenery because of FlyTampa's soon to be released Sydney so that I could do some short hauls between them. This is indeed a shame, expected a better job from orbx. It's only good if you can maintain those with AI traffic enabled and 5 layers of ultimate thunderstorm clouds but seriously, this airport is nothing else but a pure stutterfest. On the other hand I don't want to turn down my settings until FSX looks like FS1 though...

I'll try this, thanks. Although I don't really see much hope in removing tweaks since they always helped me getting good performance. At any other airport I am in the 20-30fps range with traffic enabled and heavy weather (ASN).

So I purchased this beautiful airport a few days ago, just to find out that performance is horrible, even on a modern rig and the best thing is, it seems I can't do anything about it. I load up the PMDG777 at RWY16 at night, with absolutely 0% traffic of all sorts, gives me around 24fps. Trying to gain better performance, I followed the guide that's described in the manual, setting autogen from very dense to normal and even turned down scenery settings in the YMML config panel (Levels 3 and 4). Result: a whopping 1fps gain. Since I want my sim to be realistic, I only fly with AI traffic. You can only imagine it is impossible to enjoy this scenery with traffic enabled. I tried it once, fps went down to 14-17 on approach, unacceptable. My cfg is tweaked with the most important performance tweaks: HIGHMEMFIX, UsePools=0, AffinityMask and FFTF=0.1. They work great and the system is stable when running for hours. I saw other people with less powerful systems getting good performance with this airport though, am I missing something??? I also never heard about it, that sure is quite expensive just to have some AI around but the idea is great. Also didn't know that there is MyTrafficX Lite, cheaper but less options and airlines (which doesn't really bother me). Still waiting for other opinions ^_^

Looking for some advice on the best AI traffic addon out there but it has to be: - fully compatible with DX10 (fixer) - more fps-friendly than WOAI (this one kills performance in DX10) - compatible with VOXATC - freeware or payware doesn't matter as long as the planes look good and work flawless Any ideas?

I think some of you don't really get the thing about TrackIR. It's not just for "silly" looking around, I for example (and many others of course..) need it to decrease the workload needed for switching views in the cockpit, messing around with the hat switch on the yoke and focusing on instruments when on difficult approaches. It's far more than what you think. For me, it's a tool that I would never fly without again. Just my 2 cents ^_^

Hello, I recently downloaded this awesome aircraft but am unable to even start the APU! I was following the manual and it just seems the VC is dead. I can flick switches, also my joystick works with the aircraft but that's already all about it. Is there something I'm missing???
